Game Week: Week 15 Carolina Panthers at Bills thread
Greg S replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Disagree. Root for the Colts. I want the division not a WC. I want the Bills playing at home on WC weekend not on the road. Of course if they get in as a WC that is fine as well but prefer the division. Think of it this way. If the Colts win on Saturday night then the Bills control their own destiny for the division. -
Josh in a boot after Tampa game (now says he's "good to go", no effects)

Allen reminds me of a bigger version of Elway. Gun for an arm and can run and scramble out of trouble. Also can run to pick up first downs. Lets hope Beane can build a better OL and find Allen's version of Terrell Davis to help him. -
You know what game makes me a little nervous. The Jets game. The Bills will need that game to either win the division or clinch a WC. Remember a few years back the Jets needed a win on the last week of the season to clinch a playoff spot and the Bills ruined their season by beating them. I could see the Jets wanting to get payback for that. You know the NY media will make a big deal of it leading up to the game. I realize the Bills are a much better team but divisional games can be funny since both teams know each other so well.

The play calling will be on Daboll and McDermott. But its all on Beane this offseason if he doesn't find a way to improve the OL with the draft and FA. -
Inside the 20 with a chance to win it two games in a row

To be fair to the Bills that non-PI call on Diggs probably prevents a TD. That is the most frustrating thing about that non-call. -
If the Lamar injury is serious then I could see the Bengals winning their division.

Both Saturday games are huge for the Bills then. Colts beating the Pats for obvious reasons. A Raiders win over the Browns is also huge for seeding purposes? Is that correct?

It definitely is in play if the Colts and Bills win this weekend. I can understand anyone who doesn't have much faith in the Bills right now. These last two losses sucked and were tough to take. I do think there is a good chance the Colts win Saturday and a great chance the Bills win on Sunday.

With Josh. Bills 42-17 With Mitch. Bills 31-17

Beating the Pats at NE will be tough. But the 2nd half yesterday showed when the Bills play to their ability they are capable of beating anyone. Almost pulling off a comeback against Tampa with Brady was impressive. They can definitely beat the Pats with Jones who is nowhere near the QB Brady is. They will have to play their "A" game. Anything less and they probably lose. Belichick's teams usually don't beat themselves with stupid mistakes.

Definitely want the Colts to win. Assuming the Bills win their own game which they should then BUF at NE is a battle for first place. I would like to see them win the division and get a home game on WC weekend.

Week 14 Gameday Bills at Buccaneers Postgame thread

So no PI here right? -
If they get by NE then winning out is probable.

At home against an inferior opponent I feel pretty confident the Bills will roll. See the Texans game as an example of that.
-
See if I have this right. Chiefs, Raiders, Colts ( want a shot at the division so a Colts win here helps with that), Titans (we aren't catching them so might as well knock Pitt down as they have the tiebreaker over Buffalo), Bengals, Packers
-
They could but its highly unlikely. Upsets happen. Pats lost to the Dolphins. The Bengals and Titans lost to the Jets. The Titans lost to the Texans. The Bucs lost to the Redskins. The Bills backs are against the wall. They are home and playing an inferior opponent plus they are coming off two heartbreaking losses. I think they are pissed or should be and they will win comfortably this Sunday.

Same thing when Gase was the HC of the Jets and he wanted JD as the GM. How did that work out for Gase. I remember Pegula giving an interview and he said both will report to him but McDermott has final say on all coaching decisions and Beane has the final say on constructing the roster with draft/FA.

The Ravens are in deep ****. I could see the Bengals winning that division now despite the OT loss to SF.
-
Don't give the division to NE just yet. They have a tough one on the road against the Colts this Saturday night. If the Colts win ( a good chance this happens) and the Bills win on Sunday vs the Panthers then get ready for a week of hype with the 8-6 Bills at the 9-5 Pats and a battle for first.
-
With Trubisky I still think they beat the Panthers. Cam sucks, no McCaffrey and the Panthers were "impressive" in the 29-21 loss at home to Atlanta. The Bills will definitely need Josh vs NE however.
-
The good thing is they control their own fate. The schedule is pretty favorable with three at home and one on the road. The Bills will be solid favorites in their home games. Today's Daily News has the Bills as a 9.5 favorite over Carolina.

Does Rodgers have a twin brother?
-
I am just looking at next week. Give me a Colts win at home vs NE and a Bills win. The Colts can definitely beat the Pats at home and the Bills SHOULD beat the Panthers at home. That sets up 8-6 Buffalo at 9-5 New England with first place on the line in two weeks.
