What about Trey Lance? If Brock Purdy keeps doing well and has a good playoff run, then 49ers QB situation could get interesting. Jimmy G, Lance, Purdy. Lance is still young and could bring them a good return in a trade.

I think this one vs the Bengals is the biggest regular season game in a long time. Bills win they are probably the #1 seed. Lose and they are looking at the #3 seed. The Bills more than anybody feed off the home crowd. McDermott is undefeated at home in the playoffs but winless on the road.

Had some hope the Raiders could pull off an upset being it's a rivalry game. With Carr benched I can't see that happening now. What really stings is the Chargers could have beaten them. They usually play them tough but seem to lose every time.
-
I see them going after Jimmy G or Mayfield.
-
Forget it. The Bills are going to have to win out for the #1 seed. KC isn't losing to the Broncos and Raiders.

Someone likes Burrow.

Hopefully not to the Jets.

The Super Bowls were the biggest, but this is one of the biggest regular season games in Bills history.
-
Yup. Playing 2 playoff games at home vs 3 with 2 of them on the road most likely. Biggest regular season game the Bills have played in a long time coming up.

I don't see him having a long career. Three concussions this year alone. I am no doctor, but he probably should think about retirement. His quality of life is much more important than his NFL career.

Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job
Greg S replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, they should have. Coming back from 20-0 is impressive. The Lions game resembled the Chiefs game. Chiefs tie it up starting a drive with 13 seconds left. Bills break a tie starting a drive with 20-25 seconds. -

Didn't the Bills drive down the field to win that game. The Lions game started with about 20-25 seconds. Then Josh hit Diggs with the long pass immediately. Similar to 13 seconds. The Ravens game the Bills had more time. -

I remember Bills at Lions comes to mind. -
This is true. Story could very well be BS. If you take a look at the Jets boards, they have threads talking about it.

With the rules the game favors the offense. But still 13 seconds and they have the ball at their own 25. You should never blow the lead in that situation. -

The Chiefs started on their own 25 as well. -
Story could be BS. Never underestimate the stupidity of Woody Johnson. After starting 6-3 they are now 7-8. So, 1-5 in their last 6. While WJ was kept in the loop on the Saleh hire, he was in England when this happened. Now that he is back and involved with the team maybe his opinion of Saleh has changed. Who knows what is going on. Hope it's the Jets being SOJ.

This has to be the most important regular season game the Bills have played in a long time. Win and most likely get the #1 seed. Get WC weekend off with all playoff games in OP. Lose and most likely get the #3 seed. Play LAC (most likely) on WC weekend. Survive that and they are looking at potential road games at CIN and KC to get to the SB. Please win. I honestly believe if they win then they are SB bound. Lose and then all bets are off.

It's not a must win but our chances to reach the Super Bowl improve dramatically if they do win it. Assuming they don't screw up against NE.

Per Jason La Confora. Zach Wilson may not be the only one leaving the Jets. Supposedly Johnson isn't really sold on Saleh. Here is what he posted about it. This is killing [owner Woody Johnson] trust me, I know him well ... All of that booing is driving him crazy. He already wasn’t really sold on this coach. He’s going to want [offensive coordinator Mike] LaFleur out and some changes to that staff. He can’t help himself. Weren’t they 6-3 at the bye? And now they’re getting booed out of their own stadium at Christmas. I’m telling you, something is going to happen there” LaFleur followed head coach Robert Saleh from the 49ers to become the Jets’ offensive coordinator in 2021. The Jets under LaFleur and Saleh’s coaching that year were 4-13.

Their roster is basically poop and that was before the injuries hit them. He has gotten them to 8-6-1 and one win away from clinching a WC. They probably were expected to win 4-5 games at best this year. He has done for the Giants what McDermott did for the Bills when they broke their playoff less streak. That team was 8-8 with Tyrod at QB. They had no business making the playoffs, but McDermott did a great job coaching that year. Same thing with Daboll and the Giants this year.
