I’m having the time of my life, personally. I wasn’t when Dick Jauron or Rex Ryan was coaching. -

Some of you also predicted it 6 years ago. And 9 years ago. And 12 years ago. Lol -

Pretty much the reason to make it up would be to smear McD. Which wouldn’t be shocking motivation lol -

Where is Mike Love? Or the other 100 end of the roster dudes with “potential?” These dudes a one in a million shot to even be back up contributors, let alone anything worthwhile. -

Kingsley Jonathan is going to be bagging groceries in 2 years -
It was news last week, so yeah, I’d say they did.

When we have Laquon Treadwell 2.0 running opposite Stefon next year, I’m gonna be so mad.

Eesh -
Agree with a lot of this. My whole point has been that waiting until Davis walks to go to the well of drafting a WR may bite us next season.
-
Yeah it would definitely suck to not win a Super Bowl. Agreed x 1 million

Allen's completion percentage - Him, or Dorsey or the weapons
FireChans replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
@NewEra this is what you were looking for and you were right. -
I’m not saying he doesn’t get first downs. I’m just saying his play style. He isn’t particularly adept at the short stuff, intermediate to deep passes are his game. It’s why his ADOT is so high. Folks don’t like that.

Bills lose Eli Ankou to Falcons, signed off Bills PS

I really do not mind these end of the roster guys. If we were ever at a point where we needed significant contributions out of them, season is probably doomed anyway. -
So we could’ve signed DHop, kicked the can down the road in terms of cap hit with some dummy years, and still met your criteria of “low cap hits.” yes?

Allen's completion percentage - Him, or Dorsey or the weapons
FireChans replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought that too, but Josh has the second highest YPA of his career thus far. -
Josh Allen currently has the highest completion percentage of his career, 74.8 percent. For context, he had 1 game above that last season, and his second highest percentage was 68%. In 2021, he had 3 games above that, including playoffs. Is this the new Josh? Has he and Dorsey gotten on the same page finally in regards to running the offense? Is he benefiting from Cook and Kincaid and the gang? What say you.

You know I watched the 2021 highlights of Bills Chiefs and the Hardman TD where he somehow escaped 4 defenders, Edmunds was basically fast walking to the play. Now, Hardman is a speed demon so it's hard to say Edmunds would've prevented the TD, but he certainly wasn't playing to the whistle at all.
-
Bring back Reggie Corner. The man was built to be a DB.
-
What's really impressive about that play is how his wingspan and middle of the field presence really stopped Mahomes from fitting it in on the quick slant. Lol.
-
Apparently you for disputing my claim that he won't be fired this year lol

You can't say that the SB winners weren't paying big money for their SB's then say their bill came due for big money! It's one or the other! Tyreek was also on a $54M deal. By this argument, we could pay Gabe $50M and extend it out so his cap hit is $3M next year and we would still be a "we don't pay big money to weapons" SB winner. IRT his rookie year, Brown was hurt for the majority of the year (which lends credence to why having a deep stable is important.) Davis has a boom or bust skillset. He was never gonna be a chain-mover short route guy. I think that's biggest thing folks dislike about him IMO. Folks want their WR2 to be a mini WR1, a guy who can do it all. Gabe will never be that.
-
The problem when quantifying the marginal improvement of those WR's in compared to Gabe, is that the team success of most of those teams has been higher than the Bills. So that's where the link is drawn. It's not hard to see why folks say "the Bucs/Eagles/Bengals weapons were better so that's why they have been better." I notice a lot of your stats are averages and not totals, in particular yardage. Higgins has almost 1k more yards that Davis in his career, both through 4 years. Jaylen Waddle has more yards than Davis in 1 year less. That's not exactly a marginal difference imo.
