  1. Mills makes too much sense in Houston unfortunately. He is a pseudo vet but still young. I don’t see him being sold unless the price is so high Houston has to saw yes, and I don’t want to trade a 4th or a 5th
  2. It’s not impossible but it not a good plan to replace starting WR’s with fifth rounders. Remember Shakir lol. The Bills need a revolving stable of talent in the WR position. They need to be like the Steelers. Second or third rounder every other year.
  3. That's the reason Cook is gonna be so lethal. Singletary gets caught there. Finally some speed.
  4. Classic McKenzie taking it out to get to the 15 and a holding penalty lmao
  5. Absolutely. There’s a strong chance that 3 years from now, none of our current WR’s are on the roster. Every team is gonna be different, but I don’t want to be relying on a rookie WR drafted at #28 to be our #1 when Josh is in his 30s.
  6. Okay let me rephrase. The time to draft a non-lottery ticket replacement for Gabe Davis was this year. Expecting fifth round players to start on a Superbowl team is a bad strategy.
  7. IMO, the time to draft that guy to replace that Gabe was this year. I don't like relying on a rookie for high-level contributions, especially when we are gonna be picking late every year. I understand it's not easy to do and fit the value/need equation, but the Bills are often a little late in this regard.
  8. We don't have the Edmunds third yet I don't think. It's awarded after the season.
  9. Because it makes no sense. As a cap strapped team, why would you sign Gabe to a large contract if there’s not much drop off between him and a guy who is on the vet minimum? The reasons to sign Gabe to a 4 year, $60M deal now would not include “Sherfield is almost as good and we don’t really need Gabe.”
  10. I firmly believe this FO is planning for life after Gabe next year. If they truly believe that Kincaid is going to emerge as the slot #2 option behind Diggs, then you don’t throw big money at what will really be WR3 even though he plays the boundary. Holy *****. Pay Gabe $14M or trade him and put Sherfield on the field because it won’t be that big of a downgrade?? impossible to have both of these takes at once.
  11. Both QB’s will flame out and a new OSU QB will come out in the draft, and he will be “different.” Just like Stroud was different than Fields. Just like Fields was different than Haskins. Just like Haskins was different from Jones. Just like Jones was different from Barrett. Etc etc etc etc etc.
  12. Penal colonies. The ultimate "we cannot abide people who do things like this in our society" method.
  13. I'd rather lose Gabe if he has a 1 great year after several less than great years than overpay him and be saddled with an overpaid less than great player.
  14. I would consider it “killing someone for killing someone.”
  15. CB is better this year if Tre White returns to form and doesn’t miss half the year.
  16. If Ruggs doesn’t deserve a second choice, are you supporting the death penalty in this instance?
  17. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Probably on the bit too lenient side but I understand. Ruggs has shown contrition. Now he will face punishment, and get a second chance to prove it.
  18. Depth wasn’t the reason we lost last year. Our depth actually did okay. Bills lost because their good players didn’t play good.
  19. I know this is a Hard Knocks defense but dear god the offense is unrecognizable in this video.
  20. Imagine spending all this time on website you hate lmao. 1500 posts.
  21. To the Klein point, this coaching staff has already lived and learned with what he can offer as an MLB. I recall when Edmunds or Milano was missing time, they started switching responsibilities around, they had some growing pains using Klein. They did figure out the best way to use him eventually, and he actually started making some pretty big plays, even as an old, slow vet. @GunnerBill’s yearly draft analysis jamboree is legitimately the best content ever produced on TBD. He is must read every offseason, particularly his QB grades, his first round grades and his mocks. Even his sleepers. He does not get enough props for putting it out every year. You should go back and read some.
  22. I think it's about flexibility. Cook was terrible in pass-pro last year and still got some burn. But you cannot be a liability blocking or on some of those delayed releases and see consistent field-time.
  23. I would put "between 1 and 6."
