If there’s anything you can label a “trick play” on defence,,, it’s probably rushing 2. Like enough with the ambitiousness. The defensive coaching staff doesn’t need to impress anybody. Just stay in your lane and quit doing anything funky when the Jets are on the other side of half. No need to be clever or tricky. Stop the madness!

Generally agree, but in this case it forced the Cards to have to throw an end zone heave on 4th down instead of kick a 46 yard FG to tie the game. Worked out this time.
