Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
Simon replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since we're on a football message board and not in a court of law, I'll suggest that it's OK to offer an opinion without committing a bunch of my life to providing video evidence to those who won't do their own homework. You're free to regard that opinion as credible or not. -

And sometimes people are incapable of seeing things which clearly exist. -

I don't remember specifically against who or what particular plays. I just saw him beating people with that initial burst but then maxing out his top end speed and being run down from behind. -

He's got nice initial burst, but I have seen him caught from behind by multiple college players who had no angle on him. Great quicks but I do not think he has NFL long speed. -
Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St

Regardless of how he works out at WR in the long run, for now I'm just glad to see that the Bills may have found a capable punt/kick returner this season. It might even help McKenzie by allowing him to spend less time mangling Specials and more time working as a WR. -
I'm not big on architecture so I'm not likely to notice much about it except for how well you can see the field inside.

Thanks, will fix.

Do the Bills have the best offense in the league?
Simon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesn't have to be a stud. I'd be less worried if we just had a guy who has the feet to step in there for a couple games or even just a few series but I don't even see that on this roster right now. If they can't find a viable backup option by fall, I anticipate spending the entire season hiding behind a throw pillow every time Dawkins or Spencer Brown is slow to get up. -

I really don't think you want to see either of those guys lined up at Tackle in front of our franchise QB. -

Pretty much what you've already stated above. We have one good OT and one young OT that might improve. That's it. Nobody else on this roster can play Tackle in the NFL. And that is a problem. We have one x receiver, one z receiver and then a handful of y's and backup quality receivers. That's it. When Diggs or Davis goes down, this offense will quickly be playing with one hand tied behind it's back. Mix that in with a new O-coordinator and a potentially more difficult schedule and I can see that unit having some issues at times. -

I've seen him run down from behind by more than one college player; that typically does not denote long speed in the NFL. -

I would not be shocked to see them take a small step backwards this season. -

I agree to some extent, but not so far that I would be willing to draft a QB from someplace like Wyoming......
