Because my personality is to prepare for the worst so the fall isn't as hard if it doesn't go well. It's a self-preservation thing that often pops up in people who care too much. This is legitimately confusing to me. I don't think I ever really a had a take on this particular issue. As in this post, I just reported what Josh said.

First down ding audio

I know what you mean, but I don't know that they've made the sound effect available. -
At least people are admitting that he's talked about it. Most posters here like to pretend it's a non-issue. Here Allen is literally telling you that it's an issue, and people still want to shoot the messenger because they can't handle anything but blind positivity.

Allen appeared on Bills Pod Squad with Maddy Glab and Kim Pegula yesterday and commented on getting too hyped up before games and needing to calm himself down. "When I get amped up, I get so anxious and aggressive. I come out there and I just can't throw the ball right. So I literally have to try to calm myself down as much as possible because I'm so happy I get to play football." Many posters here have criticized me and others who have brought this up, said it was fake news, etc., so here you go. Concerns about Josh's readiness to handle a full stadium of amped-up fans are warranted and a very valid discussion point. Hopefully, he'll show that he's ready to overcome these concerns.

Week 1: Steelers at Bills
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roethlisberger rubbed his nose like liars do when he said the offense might struggle early. I have a feeling they have something up their sleeve and feel like they can jump on us with Canada's unknown scheming. Whether or not it works remains to be seen. -
The ultimate time management hack might be eschewing live radio programs in favor of the commercial-free replay/podcast version at 2x speed. You end up taking in 3 hours of radio in less than an hour.

Wow @GunnerBill, this interview with Beane is truly awful. You were right. Cringe

Tasker's brain does this thing where when he starts saying a word, his brain associates it with a similar, more common word, and that's the one that comes out of his mouth. So Morse becomes Morris, and so on.

Dude, Bulldog is amazing right now. Dude, Bulldog is amazing right now.

When was the Beane interview? I'd like to go back and listen to it. I must have missed it. Have you noticed One Bills Live hasn't taken a call in weeks? Chris Brown DM'd me and said people just aren't calling in.

Beef on weck isn't special. It's a roast beef sandwich on a salty roll. There's a reason it hasn't become popular outside of Buffalo. I suppose you should try it once, but just don't have high expectations. To be totally honest, a French dip or even just a classic roast beef from Arby's have more flavor. I've had Schwabl's, Charlie the Butcher, Duff's, and numerous others over the years, and the sandwich is consistently disappointing. Bocce Club or La Nova if you want to try Buffalo style pizza. Personally, I think Bocce Club is excellent. By the way, if you want some tasty quick eats, try the steak hoagie (!) at Jim's SteakOut and the birria tacos at La Divina.

Week 1: Rams over Bears

When I was visiting Buffalo last week, I noticed a street downtown near the Sabres' arena that was called Jim Kelley Way. (I THINK it was Way.) I wondered if it was possible for someone from Buffalo to misspell it, or if it's another Jim Kelley. Also, I noticed that very few people in Buffalo wear Bills stuff, and there are few Bills flags flying. It's strange, because the Pittsburgh area is just caked with Steelers stuff. I actually felt like people knew I was an out of towner in Buffalo because I was wearing Bills stuff...
