  1. If you have the best QB in the world vs the absolute garbage that has played QB in the AFC East for years. I mean what exactly do you expect to happen? How bad would our coaching and roster have to be to not completely run this division in the same way the Patriots did for two decades.
  2. Yet every year we cry about being ravaged by injuries. Hell, all it took for the tears to come out this year was one CB. Josh IS carrying this team. As Brady did. As any HOF level QB is capable of doing in the modern era.
  3. Least amount of talent of the MVP contenders and your basis to say we have a top 10 roster is air. It’s certainly not on defense. Nobody knows what this team is without Josh. He is responsible for more output individually than any offensive player in NFL history.
  4. I’ll play, it’s not what you want but I’ll play anyway. I think the last QB to win an MVP with a TD to INT ratio under 3 throwing the ball was Brett Favre. They penalize the crap out that stat. But I imagine you’re saying because he had the least amount of talent. Which is also true, but somehow Beane is also a witch and top 3. It’s all so confusing to be honest.
  5. What I remember is a revolving door at QB for nearly two decades. We have had drought era teams with more talent than this version of the Bills. This thread is “Beane is MVP”. I never said he was bad. But as I said earlier, this notion that we have an MVP at QB and GM and HC is just a horrific fanboy take. I’m a fan of this team, it doesn’t mean I have to worship every element of it. Beane has drafted solid talent, but we have by far the least top 100, All Pro, and Pro Bowl players of any team in football that is in the playoff hunt with any degree of consistency. Which is several. That’s not my opinion either, do the math yourself if you’re decent in excel. Past the draft our FA strategy around DT, WR, and DB post Hyde and Poyer has been a literal disaster. I imagine LB will be soon to follow, likely TE, and we will triple down on WR as we likely pursue the next Kelvin Benjamin. So whatever credit he gets, it sort of washes out to a near break even with neglect of these areas. Which get exposed every post season as we get deeper in and then it gets washed away with “luck” by so many of you. If we can’t stop the run next year because we didn’t add a real space eating DT and we have 2LB’s that that look like WR’s. If we can’t deliver in high leverage because CB’s are stuck to our WR’s. If we can’t get offenses off the field because our Safteys and Corners can’t get it done. I’m not calling that bad luck, but you can.
  6. I said we wouldn’t make the playoffs. I didn’t say we would be a 5 win team. Be careful trying to argue that our GM is elite, HC is elite, and we have an MVP QB. All three can’t be true or we would have multiple trophies.
  7. So you give credit to Beane for the first year roster he took over? Thats an interesting POV.
  8. You said we went 9-7 with Tyrod Taylor. I included that sample along with even more games. But I’m the one who is cherry picking and using a small sample? 😂
  9. We have a losing record without Josh Allen. We had a bottom 30 EPA defense without turnovers. Sean is what drives turnovers. He always has. The offensive line is good. Cook is good. Everything else is at best a B grade. We aren’t making the playoffs with Sam Darnold. No way in hell.
  10. I don’t think we are a playoff team if you replace Allen with a QB in the 15-25 range in the league. So it’s sort of hard to get on this Beane is a witch fanboy club. We are completely deprived of top talent outside of Allen. That’s on him.
  11. I'm not buying this mess is on one political party. It is never that simple. We collectively led ourselves down this path. If you want to push more blame to one vs the other so be it, but it's just not that simple. Immigration was a clear rallying cry for his MAGA base and one of the main "honest" issues he ran on as far as things he could actually fix. Most peoples view of the economy is not how the stock market is performing. It's what they pay for normal things. These tariffs ensure normal things will be more expensive. Jerking around our supply chains with this on and off again approach will just lead to instability within an already proven bad concept. If this was the plan nothing he sold during the election regarding paying less for normal people will play out and to think that maybe it will sometime down the road is a good ways past optimism. These are just unintelligent moves, no way around it. He can do a lot of things to push his agenda but this was never going to benefit anybody (unless you think all the leading economists in the world are just liberal COVID fan boys) which sadly, is an agenda he has promoted as well.
  12. I never had a problem with immigration, I think it makes the country smarter and stronger. My lady is an immigrant. Super educated, just an incredible woman. But the dems never figured out a path that was logical or sustainable. Which sort of made it worse for those that tried to do it by the book. Ultimately it exposed them in the elections. Now we are paying the price for that mistake.
  13. He might be a DT or he might be a DE. He might be 300+ pounds or he might be under 260. His motor might be high or his chess piece might be strong. Regardless of it all he most certainly is a Canadian so we must be cautious. He could be spying more than the QB.
  14. After my initial roasting, the tape does look good. It will come down to how we use him.
  15. Give Beane until the end of the night. I imagine we bag 4 or 5 of them.
  16. I would have preferred to see him back for just what kind of edge he gave us. This team isn't the most physical or brash or confident and he seemed to give us a real edge. Palmer is most certainly an upgrade, but at that price, I'm surprised we didn't pay for the ST's and leadership TBH. Never thought I would say it but he will be missed. Thanks for your time and your Facebook tutorials.
  17. He's got a really good body, physical but not slow. Sort of a poor mans Amari Cooper. I thought he would break out with the Chargers lack of WR talent it just never happened. It's a bit concerning that it didn't but not a bad signing. I'm just looking for the type of signing that gives us an edge in the divisional round or later and I haven't see anything yet. Hard not to be disappointed but still time left.
  18. Him and AJ can talk about the trials and tribulations of losing weight and being average.
  19. I don't think Beane really cares about system fit. Only that he's related to Chris Kelsey and provides depth. Seriously starting to loathe Beane's approach to building this roster. Which I know evokes strong distaste from those that think he walks on water. I will change my tune if we bring on a legit difference maker. The last one was 2022 and the one before that was 2020. You better be damn good at hitting your draft picks with high end talent if you don't want to use trades or FA.
  20. Combined with one of the worst decisions to extend him early. He had the history and was showing the history before our eyes. We treated throwing money at him like a divorce ready couple having a kid. The conclusion sort of takes the appeal of the initial move (which I agree was good) but part of the game is recognizing when the deck is no longer in your favor and walking away. We doubled down and that was a mistake.
  21. For as bad as immigration was, for as bad as government spending was, for as bad as the liberal polices were, they had a degree of economic sanity. They wouldn't consider using something that is universally dismissed as a horrible idea by the leading economists in the world and doing so like its a children's game. This is all on Trump. This party is going to be removed in a landslide when the economy is upside down and nobody has work.
  22. Stable economy or secure borders? Not that difficult a choice.
  23. He had 17 sacks in 24 games post injury before he got hurt with the Bills again. If tangible things existed to say he had a higher injury likelihood NFL teams would have baked this into his value when he hit FA's. If you had better intelligence than the NFL you should be working for them.
  24. The Chargers seem too perfect for this. But as somebody called out, Harbaugh isn't a WR focused HC.
