  1. At age 20, Edmund's life suddenly takes a 360 turn when he finds himself thrust in to a MLB role in the NFL. This was baptism by fire and it appears that Edmunds has emerged better equipped to command an NFL defense.
  2. I like Daryl Johnson and he started to flash in his senior season. Perfect example of a guy flying under the radar in a small conference. He is not even close to his ceiling, so any production from him this year is a good thing. He reminds me of an unpolished version of Manny Lawson. Some of the same attributes, but Lawson had a bit more twitch and suddeness.
  3. Absolutely. Clowney's presence and play goes beyond statistics alone. When he is locked in, he is relentess and wreaking havoc across the line...he has to be accounted for at all times. Hence, "Impact" comes in to play! All of these possibilities were discussed yesterday. Any transaction carries some element of risk. Sometimes when an opportunity presents itself you go for it.
  4. Clowney just does a number of things very well. Very active and disruptive sideline to sideline and he commands a lot of attention...elevating the play of his team mates.
  5. The Bills may not be contending for a Super Bowl this year, but Clowney is still only 26 years old and entering his prime. He would serve as a vital piece to help achieve that goal in the foreseeable future.
  6. Black Magic Woman.
  7. Thank you for your service.
  8. Check Wikipedia periodically to see if Clowney is listed as a Buffalo Bill.
  9. I am sorry for your loss. Losing a loyal pet is never easy.
  10. I agree with you, but perhaps the Texans just want to move on. Remember that Gaine wanted to keep Clowney and Watt together. The brass would not allow Gaine to pay Clowney and extend him.
  11. I don't know, If I had to guess, I would say the Texans have weighed their chances of winning with both players...they have already attempted it and that ship sailed. Cut their losses and move on. Now other areas of the team are in need.
  12. Thats right, we don't really know him. From afar, Clowney may like what he sees in the young Bills defense, and he could easily envision himself as a vital part in it...who knows?
  13. I believe it boils down to money. The Texans may not be able to justify paying both Clowney and Watt anymore because the formula is not really working...someone has to go!
  14. These are the moves that are sometimes necessary to build a team. The draft is not always enough on its own. When a window of opportunity like this arises, you open it and judiciously move forward. There are always risks in any transaction...can't always be passive.
  15. Where were these fans? Drunk at a tailgate party?
  16. Mario's all around game was pretty damn good and he was tough.
  17. Sure, but the guy is human and played better on his worse days than most others with the exception of Kyle Williams.
  18. Mario 2.0? My god he played wonderfully here! He honored his contract as well as a man can.
  19. Well, then it looks like the madness will continue!
  20. Sometimes if I turned the channel the Bills would win!
  21. Yes, and if the Bills are winning and those players are contributing to that success...then you pay them.
  22. The Bills need to defeat the Patriots once and for all. They have been kicking our butts up and down the street for years. The addition of Clowney in this young defense goes a long way towards achieving that goal. If the Bills could defeat them twice in one season...then they are getting somewhere.
  23. You could be right with Lawson...contract year coming up, so Texans get a good player. Yeldon? maybe. McKenzie? Maybe.
