That link doesn't say anything about late term abortions. The trump nonsense about abortions "after birth" is the classic fear mongering. About 93% of reported abortions in 2019 were performed at or before 13 weeks of pregnancy, 6% were conducted between 14 and 20 weeks and 1% were performed at or after 21 weeks, according to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I'm fine with that term, as long as medical professionals are. No one should have to move from a state, because it's denying freedoms. You're basically calling for non-secular segregation like moving is no big deal. No idea how you missed this post: How is a baby not viable after birth?????? Viable doesn't mean it can care for itself, but rather can sustain itself without further immediate medical care. When does life begin? I'd bet you a gazillion dollars that the government would say when you were born. There's a time on your birth certificate. You then start celebrating birthdays accordingly. How many fetuses did you claim on your taxes as dependents. How many were counted on the census? Stop trying to roll it back with the same silly arguments.

"Forced down their throats" is a favorite term they like to use. They consider any discussions against their religion to be an absolute affront to their existence. When it comes time to sound off on a hockey player using rainbow tape, that's their right to "free speech"(ie bigotry). Again, their hypocrisy is more proof that they can't think beyond step 1, and it's why trying to have a rational conversation with irrational people is impossible.

Did the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand have an effect on anyone? It was just Serbia, right? That had more effect on the potential for who could be born than all abortions ever all put together. SOOOOO much this, but they claim it's the other side who only thinks with their feelings. LOL Like if there were a biological difference between conservatives and others, it would be the ability to think beyond step 1.

I did and gladly will, but I wish you'd stop dodging questions yourself. Look back at previous SCOTUS discussion on the topic. It's about when the fetus can live outside the body on its own. All our current non-secular SCOTUS is doing is mucking up everything that people already agreed upon in the past, trying to turn back the clock. Their inconsistency and punting on everything is maddening. Abortion? States rights. Insurrection Clause? Not states rights. Total immunity? self-executing?? They're a complete clown show.

World politics can have an effect on everyone. Try again. If anything, the argument should be that someone(depending on the person) birthing a child could have MUCH more effect on their lives, than if it were aborted. You'd think the group that hates poor people from stealing their taxes would understand that.

Like I said, if what someone is doing has no effect on their lives, then it shouldn't matter. If you want to follow a religion, fine. if you want the rules of your religion to be the rules others have to live by, that's no bueno. Sometimes they forget that what they believe is simply just that, a BELIEF. Laws should be based on fact.

At least you're admitting that your reality in PPP is far from actual reality, and keeping it a cesspool is a top priority. The fact you all laughed that the idea Jared used his considerable position in government policy making couldn't possible have anything to do with him receiving $3 billion, while a laptop with the words "big guy" are indisputable proof that Joe Biden is corrupt over a lousy $200k.
-
Better access to birth control from the Jesus freaks isn't a bad idea either. It all comes from their BELIEF that sex is for reproduction only, and shouldn't happen out of wedlock. Bottom line, keep your religion out of other people's business, when it has no bearing on your own personal life whatsoever. These people fight tooth and nail to the point that they believe the institution of marriage belongs solely to them. As is stands right now, religion>discrimination.

No it does not. There is currently a total artificial heart. If having a heart makes you human, I guess people with them aren't human then. How long does the heart you described last outside the mother. Imo, any fetus that can't live outside of its mother, is part of the mother, which is part of her bodily autonomy, no matter what someone else's Bible says. if the Constitution says you have a right to privacy in your 'persons, houses, papers, and effects', then CERTAINLY you have a right to privacy in your bodily autonomy. Only a fool would argue against that.

It's this level of idiocy: The Biden family is corrupt, and is in cahoots with the CCP, while Kushner's firm, Affinity Partners, has amassed roughly $3 billion, 99% of which has come from overseas. Some of the largest chunks have come from foreign governments where the US government has a strategic interest, like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar. Hunter was NEVER in the White House, and never was ordered to be given top-secret clearance after it was denied. He was never entrusted with brokering peace in the Middle East, building a border wall, reforming the criminal-justice system, pursuing diplomacy with China and Mexico, and creating an “Office of American Innovation” dedicated to revamping how the government works. They are in a CULT.

All you know for a fact is she had a diary, and someone may have stolen it. There's currently no evidence that what you're claiming is in it is actually in it, much less if it's a false memory or anything else. The only thing you're believing is what Project Veritas is claiming. Are you just mad that it's not moving the needle as much as you'd like it to? Are you mad that it's 91 felonies(that are all politically driven lawfare) vs was in the shower with dad? Don't believe what you hear with your own ears.

As I've already said, and the courts have already agreed with me a long time ago, the issue should be about viability, yet that's not good enough for the religious. You're not a human being when you're a mass of cells. Heartbeat is the silliest argument, because it is based on the old adage that the heart is something besides a muscle with valves, that circulate blood. Also keep in mind, that one party fights against access to birth control. Ironically, they're the ones that hate abortion. There's absolutely ZERO chance that a large group of them will EVER be ok with any compromise, which means this issue will NEVER end.

So if dysfunctional Washington wasn't dysfunctional Washington, we'd actually be able to solve some issues. The loyalty to trump thing has made what used to be extremely difficult into the impossible, and you can thank his threats to primary anyone who disagrees with him for that. If it has to be ultra maga vs everyone else, then EVERYONE loses. The "only I can fix this" doctrine. Honestly, the best outcome might be that he wins the election, then after 4 years we can finally move on from this. Every day I think more and more that this is what's best for the country.

Again, this is why it's important that republicans make it clear if it's murder or not. As usual with them, they spout what their religious zealotry compels them to say, then they have to walk it all back when the legality/feasibility/electability of the issue is looked at under even the tiniest of scrutiny. if it's murder, then EVERYONE involved, or who even knew anything about it, is complicit in the murder. Instead of admitting their ignorance, they just attempt to move in a manner to circumvent the obvious pitfalls of their follies. Iow, they don't care about these peskie legal issues, because the holy book is all that matters. That and pandering to their gerrymandered districts.

That rhetoric IS used. I added this to my last post, as I thought I'd get no takers: I removed the trap warning, so I may as well get to the gist. trumps(and the SCOTUS) 'stated position' is that different states will be allowed to define what a "person" is differently, and that what will be considered a murder in some states, will be a medical procedure in others. To quote Irv, what a mess. They decided that Congress must enforce the Constitution. Ironically, they then took the case to decide if the immunity clause is self-executing. Iow, they're saying they can be hypocrites any time they want, and it's their right.
-
Ok, I guess if we're going to play the silly game of, 'I pretended I couldn't understand your question, because I didn't want to have to answer it', I'll rephrase it: Does anyone know if LAWMAKERS IN red states are saying that abortion is murder, or if they just break social mores? I removed the trap warning, so I may as well get to the gist. trumps(and the SCOTUS) 'stated position' is that different states will be allowed to define what a "person" is differently, and that what will be considered a murder in some states, will be a medical procedure in others. Try Google, but more importantly, attach yourself to the subject enough to discern what's factual. I'm not your personal Brittanica. Yo-yo meant that they change policy every generation, creating political drama, that they use to distract the uneducated. Imagine the horror of well written out statutes, that aren't secular. Sounds like a good time to drop a Hunter BAWMBSHELL!!!
