Where "Follow The Science (TM)" has LEFT us..

So you're saying that Ratcliffe is now the new guy in the CIA lying to us? -
Be fun to see how Wall Street responds to this. I'm sure it will be the Feds fault.

It's Time to Mandate Vaccines

I agree they should have removed the mandates as soon as they had enough evidence to show that the variants were outpacing it. I'm not sure when that was, though. Again, he's talking about has the advantage of hindsight. It kind of boils down with would you err on the side of caution, or take the risk? At the time you just don't know. Anyone who claims they did was a liar. No, I was reading that he did low-cost and pro-bono works, so that's great on him. Tell me what I'm unaware of about medical colleges? That was still 15 years ago. -

He WAS a doctor, who did cataract and glaucoma surgeries for a short period a long time ago. I do think he still considers himself 'the medical board', that he created, though, but doubt he's even deemed himself a doctor of anything relevant to what he was discussing. -

LOL, you go to a non-practicing ophthalmologist for advice on respiratory and liver viruses? -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines

It was true for some people. Certainly misleading though. Imo, not as bad as telling everyone it was "going to disappear, like a miracle, by Easter." That ridiculous idiotic statement was FULLY APPROVED by NC and the cultist. -

No, I'm saying that with the best-known, correct knowledge/data of the novel virus, they should have decided if a mandate was necessary, and Rand Paul is making his claim with the advantage of hindsight. If they would stop making it political, maybe they could set forth some guidelines going forward, instead of the useless bickering. -

Why am I against nukeyaluhr families? I believe the military sends people out to next of kin and secondary next of kin. What numnuttz SHO isn't getting is that it would be a massive disservice to the family if that "took days". The sooner the military gets NOK information out to them, the sooner other military families can breathe easy. -

Boy you're a stickler today. He's not an MD, that studied respiratory illness, liver disease or virology. Being a libertarian, I'm sure he would give you cancer treatments though, if you wanted them. Those silly regulations. -
....and those things also shouldn't be a hindrance. History has shown, that given the chance, people WILL discriminate. The orange buffoon just glosses over that part completely, and throws a reverse racist Uno card. If they only hired white men, would it be because they're always best for the job? if so, then that CONFRIMS, that there's racism somewhere along the line, unless of course you hold the belief that white men are just naturally superior(aka racist). That's a pretty easy concept to grasp, even for the uneducated.

I already know your stance is pretty much 100% lab leak, but why do you suppose Ratcliffe is still saying it's low confidence? He also said this, "I think it was important for the American people to see an institution like the CIA get off the sidelines and be truthful about what our intelligence shows and, at the same time, protect us from adversaries like China if they caused or contributed to this," he added. All I can come up with is the political implication of accusing China doesn't outweigh the benefit. So hopefully they are actually as sure as you are, and are taking appropriate measures. The very last thing we need is distrust, because there's a chance that we're not out of the woods with bird flu and other possibilities. Our enemies, that would conduct biological warfare, would love nothing more than a complacent science denying population here. -

It was also strange that at noon today, they were still trying to notify next of kin. I'm sure there could be reasons, but it's certainly strange. If they knew the cause of the crash, and told people, that would restore confidence. Safe travels to you. -
No, he's saying that you can still get the job if you're a minority that isn't up to par. That may be true, but of course he offers no evidence other than his incoherent ramblings, which is good enough for the cult. Now watch us find out the ATC is a white guy, that's been there for 20 years. I say that because even though he already had that information, he'd STILL make that stupid claim. That's why he loves the uneducated.

I don't have to defend my punctuation. If you think people aren't concerned about flying after a crash, you're wrong. My point was that once the families were notified, more details, that could alleviate fears, were supposed to be shared. -

He's using hindsight on Covid, which is too convenient. The Spanish flu was the opposite, and worked via a different mechanism. It attacked the healthy more than the compromised. If it were Hanta virus, he would have literally been DEAD wrong in hindsight. The problem with Hep B is that most people, that have it are not aware they have it, and with the treatment protocol, the child can have a better than 90% chance of no transmission. Also, rates of acute hepatitis B infection have risen 50%-450% in states impacted by the opioid crisis. At the least, doctors should be informing mothers of these risks. Rand is neither a doctor nor scientist, so he shouldn't really have an opinion on this. Same goes for Kash Patel. -

Last night they were saying that information about the crash was being withheld until notification. -

Alleviate some concerns people who are travelling today may have.
