I guess what I meant was, purely in terms of value could we package 2 5ths and a 7th, say, to move into the 4th?

Same answer. Not trying to dodge your question or anything, but there is no one value chart, as much as fans like to refer to those out there.

Off the cuff/in a vacuum, it feels like 2 5s, a 6 and a 7 should probably be worth a mid-rd 4, yes. But again, it takes another team to WANT to do that deal with you, so practically speaking, it all depends on how other teams view the board, their draft, roster, etc.

    Great work, Thanks!

Here’s a question for all you draft day value chart couriers: do we have enough picks in the 5th 6th 7th to package and move up for a 4th?

Playing devil’s advocate, absolutely if we want to include future picks. Realistically, the answer simply depends on the team and situation with the board. If we just fell in love with a guy then I’d say possibly to maybe probably? A team like the Rams who are short on picks could find more value in bringing in a bunch of guys vs. 1.

  3. For those wanting 1Ts, it’s a dying and weak position which is why they’re all falling. I think there will still be some available in the 5th.

My guy Jonathan Adams Jr. will be another I’m keeping an eye on, love that kid’s game.

  4. Nearly 70 more picks before were on the clock again, so possibly none of these guys are even worth listing, but going into tomorrow I’ll be looking at:

    RB:

    -Michael Carter

    -Kenny Gainwell

    -Demetric Felton

    -Chubba Hubbard

    -Jermar Jefferson

    WR:

    -Ihmir Smith-Marsette

    -Amon-Ra St. Brown

    -Seth Williams

    -Brandon Smith

    -Mike Strachan

    TE:

    -Brevin Jordan

    OL:

    -Trey Smith

    -Deonte Brown

    -Trey Hill

    DT:

    -Tyler Shelvin

    -Davion Nixon

    -Bobby Brown

    -Tommy Togiai

    -Tederrel Slaton

    LB:

    -Jabril Cox

    -Dylan Moses

    -Cam McGrone

    -Tony Fields

    -Charles Snowden

    -Hamsah Nasirildeen (Nickel)

    -Jacoby Stevens (Nickel)

    CB:

    -Marco Wilson

    -Tay Gowan

    -Shaun Wade

    -Robert Rochelle

    -Israel Mukuamu

    -Olaijah Griffin

    -Keith Taylor

    -Trill Williams

I couldn't have more of an opposite opinion, personally. We're drafting giant humans for the trenches, those aren't luxury picks.

Didn't like Molden and Melifonwu just now going at the end of the 3rd however. A bit of CB run going on right now which is unfortunate.

We don’t pick again until the middle of the 5th round, a gap of almost 70 picks. Those guys — and many others — are gonna go in between our slots. Now or later, doesn’t really matter, clearly we didn’t want those guys.

So evidently the Bills didn't think they were value at that position

We seemed to take our full allotment of time, I wonder if we were trying to trade down or listening to offers

TBH I was not sold on Melifonwu, so I'm just as happy we didn't take him.

I'm intrigued by Brevin Jordan, though I think that he might have been a bit of a reach there?  I'm not sure he's an upgrade on Hollister.

He’s a project, for sure. I just think we need somebody out there and figured he fit a lot of what we look for, plus we were obviously connected to him plenty...

I’m trying to tell you, number one, if you value someone at a certain point, that’s their value. Need not wonder where other teams have them valued because they just may take him before you. Slaton is going to be the best NT in the draft, if Bills brass feels the same, he is not a bad pick RD3.

Give me a stud NT behind Star and we’re in great shape. Our line was terrible last year.

I understand your point. I just don’t agree with it.

Big DTs are plummeting. Pretty good chance Slaton lasts to the 5th.

Starting to wonder if nfl teams think Wilson is draftable.

Davis may have a knee problem.

Hadn’t heard that, too bad I love his game.

    also he just got drafted...

Was there a corner available late round 2 that wasn't a reach? I honestly don't know much outside of the first two rounds lol

Would’ve been St. Juste or Adebo. Both probably minor reaches, but you can draft for need and reach a little bit or you can complain about not filling needs.

Ugh. Can these guys draft offense?

I’d LOVE Nico Collins but we have a glaring need at CB (which is why you don’t draft a 2nd DE when you already have 6 in the stable 🙄)

Melifonwu is the highest rated as far as I can see (I'm sure Buffalo has a much different list) but who are some other zone corners that have 3rd round grades that are outside guys?

    Tay Gowan

    Shaun Wade

    Robert Rochell

    Marco Wilson

After that I think you’re looking at guys who don’t stand much of a chance of being a contributing starter, so I’d probably shift priorities at that point...

I agree but I think the top CBs are gone. We might be going with Levi at CB2.

    Let’s hope not

I think he is more of a Nickle CB. Taron Johnson will be expensive next year and probably gone.

Sure but nickel is pretty replaceable (see Johnson, Taron). We have an immediate need for an outside CB

Neglecting OL again...still can't run the ball.

We brought back our entire OL and signed a high upside guy in Lamp. Not a lot of spots there to improve.
