Yeah, they never give Rochester the same privileges as Buffalo. Back in 80's, I was set to watch the Bills game there. It was a late 4 PM start, but the 1 PM game ran late. In Buffalo, they break away for the Bills game, but not in Rochester (at least not at that time). I wound up missing the first two drives of the game. Of course, I was pissed. Hope it's changed now

Belichick has too much of an ego, like Brady. He will never go out on a loss and a losing season. Sean Payton is smart. He does not go to a team in a division where he plays Josh twice a year. He's like Phil Jackson: he'll go to a team ready-made for winning. Maybe even next season if Davis can afford to fire him.

Thanks for your detailed post. It's a shame playoff games in the UK are not on free TV, as they are here in the US. Also, I am amazed Channel 5 apparently covers all of the UK, where there are so many broadcast network affiliates here in the US. I realize the UK is smaller geographically, but it still amazes me since I am so used to the US.

Bucky Brooks on FOX Sports Radio just ranked his top 3 in the AFC as Cincinnati, KC. and Buffalo. I guess the Bills win Monday will have to change that.

I went to college in Rochester. We had so many NYC students there. They tried to get me to change the TV station on the public TV in the student center in the 80's to CBS pre-game show (they covered the NFC and Giants at the time) from the NBC pre-game show (they covered the AFC and the Bills). Me and my friend said no, this is Buffalo country! You mean Bills-Bengals? It is being simulcast on both ABC and ESPN nationally this week!

Detroit CBS might black out their early game (Indy-NYG) since FOX Detroit is airing Detroit at Chicago on FOX in the same time slot. Per NFL rules, if the home team plays on the single-header network, the home team may require the other network to black out the same time slot. The NFL requires this rule to be waived the first four times a year though. This would be the sixth time though for Detroit, and they can choose to enforce a blackout. We will see if it changes later this week. Detroit enforced it on CBS in Week 9, which was the fifth time this situation occurred this season.

Leslie Frazier expected to be "in the mix" for Broncos HC job
chongli replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks. Yeah, nothing wrong with being past middle-age (I am), but there is so much unconscious age-discrimination going on in society that I thought of that. It's a message that is enforced unknowingly through our media. I hope it's not the case with Frazier, but I suspect that it is a big part. -

I wonder if Frazier's age (63) has anything to do with teams' reluctance to hire him? -
Yeah, he knows. He was just expressing his distaste for that nickname. I don't like it either.
