Not rocket science I said it earlier today it’s too one dimensional and easy for the opposition to scout & defend. You need to keep everyone honest. We’re basically a one trick pony. Our OC & JA are SD infatuated at the expense of our TE’s, other WR’s etc…. It’s a limited scheme. If SD is doubled or taken out of the game by the opposing D we flounder. JA forcing it to SD is no bueno…. 14 against that crappy a$$ D last was absurd.

Looks to me like a young inexperienced player with ability that needs more time to develop.

Not really up on the cap consequences of Von’s contract. I’m afraid we have an aging commodity that’s quickly nearing the max age for a DL in this league. He’s looking close to pedestrian if not washed as a difference maker. Can someone please fill me in on the details. Considering our DL’s success without him I’d love to have the $ to allocate elsewhere.

And after last nights offensive debacle vs a piss poor D, I’m not all that confident vs the Jets with their defense.

With Knox it doesn’t matter he’s a mediocre talent with mediocre hands. File under overpaid.

Absolutely not, too one dimensional, predictable, & easy to defend. Sure he needs touches but the ball needs to move around a bit to keep the D honest. We have a Ferrari at QB and we surrounded him with Yugo’s. Roster management is lacking. Can we dump old man Von, Knox & reallocate money to a wr2?

There was absolutely nothing about that game that makes be comfortable. Perfection? We’re not even mediocre. We didn’t win that game, the Giants lost it. Most of this is on the OC, play selection & schemes are lacking and lackluster. I’m also not sure where the players heads are at, focus, attention to detail and execution appears way off. We faced a horrid D last night & made them look imposing. No BUENO!

Usually we’re on the short end of those I’ll take the W. But let’s face it in some respects this looks an awful lot like last season. We aren’t that good. Somethings just not quite right, can’t put my finger on it.

When we go PA we’re running all over the place. How f’in’ stupid is Dorsey? It’s not rocket science.

Well answer my question above about aging DL players making an impact? Campbell @ age 37. Maybe there a few +|- other dudes that are still playing at that age (35-37) but difference makers? Unfortunately we have a lot of coin tied up in Von. We needed to see production & playoff results on the front end of his contract to make this signing worthwhile! Again at almost 36 next year……that’s a tough ask. Von was brought here to get us a closer to a championship. So far, it’s looking like a bust.

Opinion? Look at him yesterday @ almost 34 1/2 & coming off a difficult injury he’s nowhere near ready to go. Next year? How many almost 35-36 year old d lineman are making an impact in this league? Not too difficult to see where this is going.

He’ll be a 35 PLUS yr old DL next year. He’s on the backend of his career. Likely best to cut bait.
