If Peters is so big and fast...
eventualchamps replied to agilen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is it me or does Neufeld seem to drop absolutely everything thrown his way??? I say give Peter's a shot at TE. -
How great would the Steelers game be if....
eventualchamps replied to taterhill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am going out to sacrifice a chicken and a goat right now. -
Hmmmm......He is no Bruschi. You are correct my friend - TKO is better than Bruschi. Let's look at their current stats this year: Bruschi Ints = 2 TD's = 0 Forced Fumbles = 2 Passes Defended = 5 Sacks = 3.5 Solo Tackles = 32 TKO Ints = 3 TD's = 1 Forced Fumbles = 2 Passes Defended = 12 Sacks = 2 Solo Tackles = 33 As far as the Yankees are concerned, you are correct, they do spend $$ which is completely within the rules of MLB. UNLIKE the patsies which illegally covered (molested) the Colts WR's last year, got a speactacular call against the Raiders in which Marsha fumbled the ball, and have a little snow plow man sitting on the sideline in snowy weather so that he can remove snow from Adam's kicking area so that he doesn't slip and fall when he's lining up for his kick. Other than that, I'm with ya. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

Roethlisberger is TERRIBLE on the run
eventualchamps replied to daquixers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
reminds me of a QB here in Buffalo. -
If you want to talk about overrated, the Bosox are overrated. They haven't won a World series in how long and now all of a sudden the Yankees suck and the Bosox are the team. PLEEEAASSSEEEE........get some more metal in your trophy case and then we can talk. Getting back to TKO - he is very, very good but no where in the caliber of Ray Lewis. Having said that, I don;t think he gets anywhere the recognition of a Lewis or even Urllacher and therefore I would have to say that he is not overrated.

Did you get the Peanut Farm Burger with eggs and ham on top - damn that thing is good.

ICE, Kelso's Helmet, Pete, Jp-era STFU
eventualchamps replied to Oneida Lake's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes - quit dodging the question. How have you seen Drew's performance since he became a Buffalo Bill. What's our playoff record??????????????? What's our road record????????????????????????????? SURELY you can come up with some creative answers. I'm happy as hell we won today and Drew kicked a$$ today. Unfortunately, those "today's" are few and far between. -
Bengals will decide our fate!

I don't think Jamal Lewis is expected to play. -
year and who are our FA's? Just curious.

God I'm so !@#$ing sick of Bledsoe's
eventualchamps replied to VabeachBledsoefan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Drew was decent enough today to help out with the win. Had he turned the ball over three times to a decent team like the Pats, we would have gotten creamed. He's still a sub-par QB that plays like a roller coaster ride. I'll give him his props today though - he had some nice passes. Once Losman is 100%, I would still hand the reigns over to him. I would rather not have his very first start next year. Esp. knowing DB is not going to be our starter next year. -
Moulds, Bledsoe, Henry all gone
eventualchamps replied to JP-era's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You simply restructure his contract for the trade. It's been done before. -
Can we agree it's time to start Losman?
eventualchamps replied to ICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ummm....I don't think your going to see the vets pulling for Bledsoe. As for others incessant whining of "maybe JP's not ready mentally yet" - go pound salt. Absolutely no one (not even the Buffalo coaches) can tell you if he will be successful or not once he starts playing - it's a crap shoot. It is a fact however that Bledsoe has stunk for the last 2.5 years and we cannot win with him. It is also a fact that he is not Buffalo's future. It's Losman time. -
Some examples of too much religion in gov't....or are you just spewing sound bites?? Yeah that whole "One nation under God" thing that our fore fathers founded our country on really peaves me - what a bunch of idiots. Don't get me wrong, I haven't attended church on a regular basis in years but for the most part, religion has many more positive than negative influences on society. It's only when individuals take religions to radical extreme's where it can become harmful. Other than that I really don't have a problem with - do good unto others, respect your parents, do not kill, etc. I'm not sure where these values stand in your book, but in mine (and the majority of America) they are good things. If you want a sanatized country, I suggest you move to France.

Will Bringing Losman In at QB Help the Bills?
eventualchamps replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your point number 1 is on the MONEY!!!! The only way I am going to watch the Bills again this season is with JP in. There are arguments on both sides of whether or not to start a QB right away or give them time to develop. For every argument against, I can give you one for. The fact of the matter is Drew stinks and people will stop buying tix which will lead to a loss of revenue which will result in less money to bring in quality players and as a result, the Bills will grow increasingly horrible and thus less and less people will buy tix and eventually Raplh will have to move the team. See what you have done Drew!!!!!! -
BREAKING NEWS.....apparently to some...
eventualchamps replied to CoachChuckDickerson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just to throw in a correction - I think you mean a bad two years. Are you Drew's cousin?? -
Are you blind???? What's our record with Drew at the helm?? and your pointing to the Miami game. He is absolutetly HORRIBLE. There are backups on other teams I would take over him. He inspires absolutely NO confidence in the team. It's similar to Vinny when he was the starter in NY. He's sucks up the place and everyone on the Jets are paying bad until Pennington comes in and provides a HUGE spark to the team.
-
I suggest we start the game off by chanting "JP". Hey, don't get me wrong or anything, Drew's a great guy - just a train wreck of a QB. Who's in??
-
Bledsoe isn't our main worry
eventualchamps replied to BilzFanGA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Take all the stats aside and the fact remains that Drew IS NOT a leader. We need a spark - similar to Pennington when he started for the Jets. He got his whole team pumped up. Brady did the same thing for the Patriots. Big ben is doing it right now for the Steelers. Sorry to say it but you are wrong, wrong, wrong. Stop defending a losing cause. As certain as the Red Sox choke and are not "winners", so goes Drew. Don't get me wrong, I think Drew is a great guy but he just can't get it done. He's had four games to prove himself (not to mention a previous season and a half of sucking) and he still has yet to get it done. Hell, I'll bet $1000 that if JP starts four games, he will win one of them. Any takers form the Drew apologists? -
BLEDOE IS FINISHED. DUMP HIM!!
eventualchamps replied to Let'sGoBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ummm....what's the Falcon's record? -
Famous quote dug up from Patriots board before Brady became "the man": "I'm tired of people hailing Brady as our savior" Yes - lets continue on the same path of beating our friggin' heads into a cement wall - brilliant. Losman, McGahee, Aiken - put 'em in!!
-
What changes would you make at this point?
eventualchamps replied to Frez's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Get Losman in there as soon as he is ready (ASAP) 2. Bench Reed and put in Aiken 3. Use Evans more 4. Start McGahee (at least for a game to see how he does as we can't do any worse) 5. Put together a search party to find out DE's -
When does the JP countdown start?
eventualchamps replied to webtoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it started already. -
As a follow up to all the pre-season post bashing I think it is time to give some props to those who predicted correctly: 1. Sorry - Bledsoe Sucks. Beldsoe bashers must be given props on this one. 2. Pre-season actually does count and gave us an indication of our play to come. 3. Tom Donahoe must go. Looking pretty good right now. 4. Why the hell did we sign Schobel to a big contract extension. 5. Lee Evans just needs some time to be a stud. Jury is out but it looks pretty good if the last game was any indication. 6. Lindell sucks and needs to be replaced. I think these posts started last season. I know there's a bunch I am missing. What are they????

My case for starting Losman...whether it
eventualchamps replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Two words why we should start Losman asap: Drew Bledsoe -
I think the intention of the "if for no other reason" was essentially - we cannot abosolutely, positively do any worse than we are right now. And I agree. Bledsoe is d-o-n-e.
