  1. We need a dominant defensive end and a kicker. I think these are the Bills most glaring weaknesses. Any opinions??
  2. Steve Christie was true on both of his extra point attempts and he banged a 53-yard field goal through the uprights for his only field goal of the day in Week 1 at Philadelphia.
  3. Stop kidding yourself. Mularkey makde the right call. Here's why: Our D was playing great Our coverage on punts was good Moorman was punting awesome and Mularkey had every reason to believe he could have trapped them deep in their zone with a great punt Lindell has a HISTORY of not making long field goals To debunk your myth about the wind.......yes it helps with distance but unfortunately for Lindell, it doesnt help with accruacy and he does indeed $UCK in this area. Hindsight is great but when it's all said and done, he made the right call to punt.
  4. I'm going with the skunk works ala Lee Evans pick. I think we have been hiding him and he is going to have a HUGE game = 110+ yds and 1 TD. On our first drive, Drew will throw a bomb to him on second down and Evans will go bye, bye, Jags!!!!
  5. Indy Dave - I saw it too on CBSportsline and also saw it disappear....very weird. I feel bad for Portis if true, but I just picked up Betts for my fantasy team just in case.
  6. First of all, this might come as a surprise to you but Saddam had WMD's - that's right, he had them. He actually used them on the Kurd's in the north. This is a FACT. It is also a fact that he KILLED thousands of people during his reign. Heres a neat little equation for you: Saddam + WMD's = Mass Death Saddam - WMD's = Mass Death Secondly, for all of you political science majors from ECC...If we were to flip the "magical switch" and pull all of our troops out tommorow it would create a vacuum. If this concept is foreign to you, watch the episode of Survivor where Rupert gets voted off - yes, the one you have on tape. Third, while you may have thought that everything was honky-dory during Clinton's reign, he and his administration were responsible for the demise of our human intelligence gathering capabilities. This can be directly correlated to America's vulnerability to terrorists.
  7. I finally got to watch my TIVO. Your right - Drew looked pretty damn good and McGahee looks s-l-o-w. Opposite to whatever everyone else thinks I didn't think Zolman looked too bad. I'll give him a bogey for the first int. as he had to have some jitters but overall he was reading the D's well and had some good zip and accuracy on the short passes. His 2nd int. wasn't his fault as the WR ran the wrong way on his route. Call me crazy but he didn't seem too awful to me as opposed to what some of you are saying. Some more practice and I think he will be fine.
  8. In addition, if you watch the game, Brady moves around in the pocket a lot. This really throws D's off and gives him more time to throw and create plays. Unfortunately, Drew cannot do this. We need a monster O-line for him.......not a knock on Drew because he has other excellent skills.
  9. Ummmmm........Last time I looked, Levy didn't WIN a superbowl. Please don't reference him to make a point. As they say, second place is a "set of steak knives".
  10. Apparently, the Korean did in fact touch the parellel bars one time too many and there should have been a deduction of .20 for this. Even if the Korean received the extra points for the error in question, he would have still fallen short of Hamm's total. If your gonna review a portion of their performances, you should review it all. It would have been a class move for him to give it back if in fact it was an error, but given the above info, he gets to keep it. No if, ands or buts.
