  1. JSP you lost it on this one. You can compare JP's first year to Favres first year, as they both basically played scrub and sucked tremendously. Favres first year starting was with Green Bay and he did a good job. He digressed his third year (which was his second year starting). We'll see how JP doesn, and I hope it starts clicking.
  2. Doesn't mean he was the right draft choice for this team. Besides, Tasker is a much better person to talk to and he's my height.
  3. I believe Reed was partially to blame as well. If TD had known he was going to be our best receiver he might have used our 2nd rounder on an Olineman instead of a smurf, a fast smurf, but a smurf non-the-less.
  4. Did you say something? It's tough to get upset with a future member of the Short Bus Retatta Eaters club.
  5. Snore
  6. He never made it to the pile the side and back camera angles showed him clearly down well before the mark.
  7. BS. He didn't make it, he didn't slide back. The camera showed him going down quickly, like he tripped.
  8. I wouldn't be shocked to see more nickle. I would like a 4-2-5 package with Wire being a modified LB. He seems better suited and would give him the ability to only cover short stuff and be a run support safety. After all he was stud LB in college.
  9. What he's saying is 1st starting season. Just as this is Jp's first starting season. Oh and just to check the facts, I sure hope Losman puts up the same second season numbers / first year starting.
  10. 3 of the first downs have come on passing plays the last two weeks. However, as much as I talked down JP before the season, and took a ration of sh-- because I said he wasn't ready, it's too late. I am now behind JP 100% until the late in the season, and as long I as see some improvement by week 10, you leave him in there. I don't like coaches who mess around with the youngsters minds and find it rarely works.
  11. Trade the pick to Dallas for Bledsoe.
  12. tiny bit on the Bills and Jets: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2171937 Jets and Bills falling apart early Three AFC East teams -- New England, New York, and Buffalo -- were supposed to compete for the playoffs this year. Two are just trying to keep it together right about now. PenningtonThe Jets' Chad Pennington strained his surgically repaired right shoulder in a 26-20 OT loss to the Jaguars, and his backup, Jay Fiedler, injured his right shoulder, as well. "They'll have to cut it off for me not to play," Pennington said. New York's offense has been off for three weeks now, and at this point Pennington might not give the Jets the best chance to win; Herm Edwards said Brooks Bollinger might have to play next week against winless Baltimore. The Bills had high hopes for this year after just missing the playoffs a year ago. The move to replace Drew Bledsoe with J.P. Losman is backfiring so far. Buffalo has scored two offensive touchdowns and kicked nine field goals. The passing game has produced three first downs in losses the last two weeks, including Sunday's 24-16 setback at the hands of the Falcons. Takeo Spikes talked in training camp about Buffalo needing to make the most of its opportunity this year (as in, 10 of 11 starters returning on defense). Now he's hurt (Achilles), and his fears are being realized. While the Jets and Bills are stumbling, Miami, 4-12 last year, is tied with New England atop the division. A week after humbling the two-time defending champs, the Panthers went to South Florida and gave one away (three turnovers) to the Dolphins, 27-24. Serves as a reminder that every week is its own entity in the NFL. Ronnie Brown ran for 132 and the Dolphins are getting Ricky Williams back in a couple of weeks. They may be benefiting from playing at home in September, but by December they'll be legit, especially when Zach Thomas (17 tackles Sunday) & Co. really get comfy in Nick Saban's defense.
  13. He said it couldn't get worse. I just gave him a reminder on how it could.
  14. Technicality. And you call yourself a chef. You should be ashamed for not knowing that.
  15. Maybe he went dress shopping for himself.
  16. Geez then why have Willis out there on first down then, since we pass most of the time then as well.
  17. This just in. Based on Drews great play, TD traded next years 1st rounder, and Nate Clements to the cowboys for Drew Bledsoe.
  18. 115 over 65. Of course thats up from what it was 10 years ago. I used to be 90 over 50.
  19. I know who did it. I just to see if the culprit was man enough. Obviously he is too much of a kitty.
  20. Your comment about the old man vitamins and the fiber was meaner.
  21. But Mcgahee tripped. BTW, Mcgahee did have a couple of good blocks in the game. CTM and I were both commenting that it couldn't have been him, as we read here that Mcgahee sucks blocking.
  22. Would have been funnier if you were sitting in it when it fell of the stool.
  23. You forgot it's all a plot to get the 1st pick next year, move us to LA with Leinart (sp??) from USC, and sell out for the next 8-10 with the local college hero. They will be known as Your Buffalo Bills from Los Angeles.
  24. It appeared the Bills thought this was an away game and were at Atlanta. They didn't show up yesterday, and TD pulled a bunch of people out of the stands to fill in.
