How can Moulds have a huge game if Losman only throws for 120?

Honest answer here, so don't go nuts folks. At this point in time, we have to go with Losman, good or bad. I do not believe it was the right choice to turn the reins over to him, but now that it's done you cannot take him out of the drivers seat. Everyone knows that I felt before the season the coaches should have opened competition, and I feel Holcomb would have won out. Now however, leave Losman alone, even if we only get 4 wins.

I would not know about any secret board, I am not privey. Second, no the Maryland law when relooked at would apply only to Walmart, hence the big issue. Thirdly, no store is obligated to remain open ever. Also, if you read your article, health coverage is provided, but some employees choose not to take it. Probably because they either have to pay some stipend out of their paycheck or they get a little extra if they opt out of it.

Except if Walmart is doing something illegal punish them. For legislation to be passed that applies only to Walmart is BS. Maryland did this and then repealled it when it wasn't going to pass through the courts. Otherwise Walmart is a business like any other business and they are there to make money. If they can hire enough people to do the job and they can do so without giving them top tier health insurance, they are not under any obligation to do so. Supply and demand. If the workers want to unionize, so be it. But if Walmart wants to close a store that unionizes that too is their call. If the union is strong they will entice Target, Kmart, etc... to fill in behind and give them some incentives. But if it isn't cost effective especially with union mandates on a store then no business will stay open there if he doesn't make economic sense.

Kind of. Go back to our Super Bowl years. I am not sure we were ever ranked in the top 15 defenses in the league. That was because we didn't have the best corners or safeties and therefore somewhat easy to throw against us. But run defense we were pretty solid by then, including Bruce who had struggled earlier on in his career. But in addition out offense scored so quickly and so much that teams had to air it out more to play catch-up. Kind of like Indy as well. Their defense probably wasn't as bad as the stats showed, but this year they are also probably all of a sudden not as good either. The truth lies somewhere in between.

Exactly. Teams that are last in defense typically are the ones that either defense the run well or are just plain bad against the pass. We only look good because it is difficult to run up enough yards on the ground against a defense to have them be "too bad" on paper. The tell tale sign is the last against the run. Teams don't have to pass and run up the yards that way.

Main things: Need to leave JP in there. He was unhappy that the coaches pulled him from the TB game. He says we need to stick with him for nw until he doesn't. Need to throw more underneath and quick patterns 3,4,5 yards only. Need some crossing patterns especially with Moulds. JP needs to make some of those completion. He needs to learn to progress through his reads. Pissed off at fans for giving up on JP already, booing him and leaving early. Said he is not the OC, and he doesn't want to undermine them really, so they may be doing something different.

Yes, I did complain about the play calling inside the 20. But when the coach comes out and throws on the 1st 7 1st down plays two weeks in a row, and is only running on 50% of the plays against Atlanta, and 20% against Tampa, then yes it is a play calling issue. Also, I don't remember seeing any patterns under 15 yards on first down, until the second half.

Yes, because he isn't putting a young inexperienced QB in a position to succeed, and call plays that work. To constantly call for 30 yard patterns on first down at the beginning of games is stupid and poor coaching.

See now that's a good idea. Since we are not able to complete downfield passes, and I am sure this is frustrating to Moulds and Evans. Lets trade Eric to Philly for Fraley. It helps them with another WR, and we get a stud center. Then we trade Evans to Dallas for Flozell Adams. They get a speedster WR, and we get our francise LT.

The problem with that is especially on slants, JP doesn't look off his receivers. He picks him up immediately on snap and looks at him even in the 3 step quick drop. That is why the LBers have been jumping the slant routes. I agree we need quick stuff early, WR screens, RB screens, TE dumpoffs, etc.... early. But there are certain things JP just doesn't do well right now even in the short passing game.

I was kind of joking as I believe someone else had this same revelation prior to this, and was discounted for the coaches know more. He must have been a pretty smart fellow also.
