  1. No, you have him "practice" real world. That doesn't meean throwing 50 yard bombs every play. This isn't madden and that isn't how a QB develops. This is one of my complaints with the coaches. He should be taught to throw the short stuff, slants, etc... and stop looking down his receiver. He has got to learn to check off. Drew may have been slow at it, but Drew did know how to check off. Watch Losman, he stares at his receiver before the play even starts. He needs to learn those nuances, and throwing fly routes all day isn;t gonna help his timing, his development, nor his touch.
  2. Too late for that now. We cannot go back once the season started. At this point I would be exteremely disappointed if they sat JP before game 10. They made the choice now they have to coach him and stick with it, unless he gets hurt. He looks bad, but he needs to suck it up and either learn, or we probably will be getting Leinart next year.
  3. Except this guy was the Texas EMA guy. Plus he was the deputy prior to taking over as director. Yup no experience.
  4. None of the three are very good. We'll see if Crowell can play the OLB, but he sucks on the inside, where he is slotted as the backup. He can't shed blocks, which he needs to do since Edwards has no ability to control the gap.
  5. Hard to tell when they are overthrown by 20 yards every time. Not sure if you caught it earlier, but I was watching the game with a few folks from here. Crap Throwing monkey on one play stands up and yells something like "How the hell do you overthrow two receivers on the same play". It was a sideline pass that sailed over two receivers and about 3 defenders.
  6. Nothing new then huh? And at least I knew that.
  7. Problem is, Fletch is also hurting and missing half of the last two games. Do we really want to go into a game with a limp Flecth, Posey and three scrubs.
  8. To play LB? He can't even play WR very well, how do you expect him to learn a new position now?
  9. What do you expect out of a 2nd string LT who was cut before the end of the season by the Bears? Think about it this is who TD signed to play as our starting LT. Now to Gandys credit, he has had a lot of blocking support from Campbell and they have done okay, but guess what, that takes the TE out of a pattern. Who else hasn't played to expectation? It hard for the receivers to catch the ball when it is over their heads. But a 1st year starting QB will make mistakes, so it is understandable, but don't blame Evans and Moulds. Edwards was barely resigned last year, and now he is filling in for a pretty damn solid NT who is gone. What did you expect?
  10. Lemming.
  11. Well considering we only now have 5 linebackers, I would assume TD signs another.
  12. He has a friend. Who would have think that.
  13. Flood insurance covers the cleanup of mold. Of course, Cajun was smart and got it, there was another less then intelligent person, who is a teacher non-the-less who chose not to. Good choice cajun.
  14. Favre did well his 1st season starting, Brady did damn good his first season starting, Brooks did better than average his 1st year starting, Griese was okay his first year starting. Again these wre all 2nd year players who didn't start until their second years. And they all put up average to above average starting numbers. Now the jury is out and should be and JP should continue starting, but that is what you have to compare him to. Some overall very average NFL QB's and some pretty good ones.
  15. Hence why God gave men tongues as well.
  16. Only like 5 or 6 teams, I believe. The Bills, Saints, Redskins, Arizona and Cincy.
  17. Bengals maybe. I see the skins staying put this year. They didn't exactly destroy the bears, and they should have lost to Dallas. The Saints who knows whats the deal since they are in an uproar after Bush hit them rwice with hurricanes.
  18. Exactly. We are the Redskins, Bengals, and Saints of the NFL.
  19. Since when did Tampa make the playoffs? They have been worse then us. They were 5-11 last year, and 7-9 the year before. No they are a bad team, who through coaching and good player selection seem to be better this year. We on the other hand, through questionable player moves and poor coaching are much worse.
  20. Maybe because they are well coached. Ever think of that option?
  21. Some good news. I hope you were smart enough to buy flood insurance, no matter the cost?
  22. Right now Losman has a bad habit of locking onto his receivers and not checking down. He'll learn, but the whole pat thing, etc.. are part of the growing. The pat thing with Bledsoe was, I believe, a technique for checking through the receivers, kind of like a piano player that bobs his head to the beat. As he patted he was actually scanning to the next receiver in the progression.
  23. I heard she liked Janeway best.
  24. The third one needs a gaff, not a rifle. Much easier and fun to bash the baby seals with then shooting them.
  25. Why? If you can get past my sarcasm, I pretty much have said this all along. You just have to have a little thicker skin, and pay a little more attention. It's not me that's the problem, it your comprehension skills.
