I wasn't talking about Mccain. In fact I am of the opinion that of the 4 people on the 2 tickets, Palin is actually the only one to have really done anything, and the only one qualified.

Sponsoring a bill is not the same as writing/initiating a bill either. Almost every bill has numerous sponsers, it a way to get your name attached to legislation without actually doing anything, except maybe giving a speech on the floow at 6 o'clock when everone else is gone. Of those bills, how many got passed? How many did he reach across the aisle and get the other side to vote for? Writing is for authors. Politics is about swaying people.

When family members do not actively campaign for their mom/dad/husband/wife they should be off limits. But when they are put on stage to give speeches like Michelle Obama was, they are fair game. Just as Chelsea should have been off limits in the past, but this year she actively talked for her mother. Once they put themselves on stage, speak and campaign, anything they say and do becomes relevent. Let me know when Cindy Mccain, or Palin husband start giving keynote campaign speeches. Or the daughters. Once they do all bets are off and ridicule and being called for hypocrisy is permitted.
