  1. Well, the mail man just came and it turns out that the Bills short postaged a large number of tracked delivery letters and the post office decided just to deliver them and then charge the Bills. What was it?.... A membership in the "Jelly of the Month" club. Just kidding, It was my tickets to the game in London.
  2. Couldn't make it to the post office to see what it was about. I am a Season Ticket holder. What would they be sending me today and how could they send it with insufficient postage!?
  3. Since you all seem to have the proteins taken care of, the wife and I will be bringing dessert. Cookies, brownies, maybe something more creative. Looking forward to it.
  4. Theesir and Mrstheesir will both be there. Section 108 Row 29. We are parking in the stadium lot but will be at Hammer's as fast as I can drag the mrs.
  5. Myself and Mrstheesir will be for the tailgate, but will be parked in Lot 5. Do I need to add my name to some list or bring anything?
  6. I JUST BOUGHT A FREDDY JERSEY SATURDAY AT THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Your comment is only valid if you believe the folks on the air live and breath their opinions 24 hours a day like many folks here do. I think EJ is a bad quarterback, I also think Donald Trump is a loon. I don't want to listen to a radio show that talks about a quarterback for 4 straight hours for the same reason I won't listen to a radio station talking about a politician for 4 straight hours. ITS BORING AS HELL!!! There's more to life. If you believe any host from WGR went home last night and yelled at their wife and kids because the guy they said was going to get cut is starting on Saturday you don't realize what an empty life you live.
  8. I got half way through your comment and thought to myself... This guy sounds like one of those marroons that calls in and says your opinion is invalid because you never played sports... THEN 2 SENTENCES LATER YOU SAID IT YOURSELF!!! It's talking about a game!!! It doesn't need to be so serious and you (collective you) don't need to take it so damned seriously.
  9. Truth be told I find Schopp tremendously entertaining. I think he has a sharp wit, a good sense of humor and a great recall of sports related information. He doesn't like dealing with people with what he considers to be stupid opinions, and neither do I, so more often than not when someone calls in and gets "dismissed", I'm fine with it. I mean, does a guy calling in an proposing we make Tyrod Taylor a wide receiver really deserve to be taken seriously? As for national guys... I usually find them a waste of time. Hearing Clayton bring up points that clearly evidence no inside knowledge of our team but rather him reading the same stories and twitter posts I see is boring and rather frustrating to me.
  10. Back when the Bills were first kicking the Tyrod tires in the offseason I mentioned really liking him in his draft year due to a video I saw about him on ESPN. THIS WAS IT!!! I'm psyched that this has shown up. I'm really rooting for this guy to be a mistake 30 other teams will regret for years to come (Baltimore drafted him and kept him so they saw his potential).
  11. I'm not being sarcastic. I listen in the morning, I listed to the afternoon segments on demand when I walk the dog in the evening. I love the fact that I can hear sports talk and still enjoy fun conversation about other topics. Listening to WGR is a lot like my life... I love sports, but I like humor too. I like talking about the silly events of the day, laughing at idiots and amazingly, not wetting myself when someone has an opinion different than mine. I most appreciate the fact that most of the people that call in do not get on the air. If I wanted to listen to uneducated fools babble their stupid opinions, I'd go back to training camp. The folks on the air are the kind of people I hang out with in every day life. We use sports as a common interest point and like to talk about it, but its not our whole life.
  12. Tyler Dunne at the News just reported being told the injury is serious and he could be out "multiple weeks" http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/08/18/bills-sign-lb-quentin-groves-and-rb-ricky-seale-williams-injury-could-be-weeks/ Still no details.
  13. I can't argue with Cassel. If he isn't showing he is better than EJ or Tyrod, then I would rather they cut him and we move forward with two athletic young QBs regardless of their warts.
  14. I'm shocked that anyone still remembers Yahoo's address
  15. Where did you all buy tickets in advance of today? I only saw them available on ticket resale sites with many saying tickets would be delivered week of the game. I didn't want to take that risk. I was able to buy a price level today and seats will be assigned later. But I'll be happy with any seats i get in the level I chose.
  16. Plane tix are about $700 round trip plus a couple nights hotel and price of ticket. About what it would cost me to see a game in San Francisco. Don't need to be rich, just be willing to plan ahead,
  17. Tickets were made available for order to STHers this morning. Got two. Mrstheesir and myself will be heading to London the Thursday before the game.
  18. Anyone? I still have heard nothing beyond "You SHOULD" have something by Friday. I may need to find someone with an AmEx.
  19. I got an email reply from my rep.... not as detailed as I hoped. My Questions- Onsale for season ticket holders is Friday. When can we expect some information about the onsale? Not sure. Safe to say that morning you should have the link and promo code Timothy. Have a great day! SHOULD have... what if I don't?
  20. I sent an email and got a message that the office is closed today and will reopen tmrw, 4/7. I actually find the lack of communication related to concerts and other events rather annoying.
