  1. “On the night of the 21st of September the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out a combined attack on the military airfield of the occupiers near the city of Saka in the temporarily occupied Crimea,” the armed forces said in a Telegram post around midday. Russia’s Defense Ministry said it foiled an attempted attack against Russian territory overnight, claiming to have destroyed 19 Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and Crimea. Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the Russian-installed head of Crimea, denied reports that the air base was destroyed. “Our air defense shot down everything,” he said. Unnamed sources in the Ukrainian Security Services told CNN that at least 12 Su-24 and Su-30 combat aircraft, as well as Pantsir missile systems, were being held at Saki air base on Crimea’s western coast when it was targeted by a “massive fire strike.” The unnamed sources told CNN that the base was also used to train operators of Iranian-made drones and said the attack “caused serious damage to the occupiers’ equipment.” The Washington Post could not independently verify the reports, and it was not immediately clear if any Russian military assets were damaged. Saki air base was attacked last year, and a Ukrainian government official told The Post at the time that Ukrainian special forces were responsible. So a very expensive attack on a field. Unsourced

  4. Its interesting that on this topic, the lefties call for bans. But over on the abortion thread, they repeat over and over again how a ban doesn't work and people will just find the illegal route. cant make it up.

  15. Its like words and actions have consequences. Poland summons Ukrainian ambassador over Zelenskiy remarks, Kyiv calls for calm | Reuters Then hours later. Poland no longer arming Ukraine, says PM (msn.com) Interesting how they reference Ukraine as a drowning person that is holding its rescuers under water, to save itself. On a side note. Poland has some of the most interesting history stories going. from mermaids to ancient warrior armies.
  16. "The two psychological tendencies that underlie modern leftism we call “feelings of inferiority” and “oversocialization”… By “feelings of inferiority” we mean not only inferiority feelings in the strict sense but a whole spectrum of related traits; low self-esteem, feelings of powerlessness, depressive tendencies, defeatism, guilt, self-hatred, etc… When someone interprets as derogatory almost anything that is said about him (or about groups with whom he identifies) we conclude that he has inferiority feelings or low self- esteem. This tendency is pronounced among minority rights activists, whether or not they belong to the minority groups whose rights they defend. They are hypersensitive about the words used to designate minorities and about anything that is said concerning minorities. The terms “*****”, “oriental”, “handicapped” or “chick” for an African, an Asian, a disabled person or a woman originally had no derogatory connotation… The negative connotations have been attached to these terms by the activists themselves... Those who are most sensitive about “politically incorrect” terminology are not the average black ghetto-dweller, Asian immigrant, abused woman or disabled person, but a minority of activists, many of whom do not even belong to any “oppressed” group but come from privileged strata of society."

  21. Damn. She just got fired. Bet we do pay for her salary and then some. Update(1336ET): The controversial American transgender spokesperson for Ukraine's Territorial Defense Forces Sarah Ashton-Cirillo (born Michael Cirillo) has been suspended indefinitely by the Ukrainian military, also pending an investigation. According to an official Ukrainian military statement, Ashton-Cirillo's recent statements regarding "hunting down" dissidents and "propagandists" were not approved...
  22. lol at how that pissed them right off.
  23. 100% and without that, it gives the impression of a politicized justice department.
  24. ITs America. we don't agree on anything:) and PACS "poison pill" any debate on this topic, for whatever reason. 16 weeks? 20? I think most reasonable people would find some compromise. But if Row was already Ruled as a state's issue, how would they codify it, without it running into the same issue. And a pet peeve. Why would or are we even considering calling medical procedures like ectopic pregnancy, an abortion. Seems like this would be low hanging fruit to fix. Same with children/women that are pregnant by rape or *****. It shouldn't even be a debate. but also believe law enforcement needs to be involved. (Predators don't stop till someone/something stops them)
