i think the calm i am feeling stems from the worse that could have happened to me as a fan happened last Monday, an excruciating loss to the team i dislike the most and said team also took the division lead from us. Could not have drawn it up any more nightmarish than that for me, whatever happens now is just gravy or a pleasant surprise

well to be honest he isn't wrong we as fans prob don't wanna hear that tho

and maybe the players feel this way also, the worse has happened expectations have been greatly diminished, not many think they gonna win this so maybe they come out calm, have good game and play well

and in todays NFL, the teams identity really has nothing to do with the city they are in, maybe way back when NFL players lived and worked in the city they played for (like when the Packers were actually guys who worked for the local meat and cheese packing plant) the teams would have greatly embodied the area they were from.

Historically great teams were able to impose their style of play on the opposition most games. If the Bills are a Super Bowl team and their identity is a passing attack that is very hard to stop, one that can be explosive but also disciplined and methodical with a top defense that is hard to score points on, we better start seeing both on a consistent basis starting this week. Unfortunately they have been an inconsistent, middling team with no clear identity in Nov and Dec so far.
