The Browns are basically doing what we should be doing. Moving the ball effortlessly. Forcing easy 3 and outs. What a complete fail this team has been since winning the regular season Super Bowl in KC.
What even IS this offense right now. Just nothing going on. If not for the Hines return on the FG drive that would be another punt. 9 plays, like 15 yards, 2 punts and a FG. We could find ourselves down 17-3 soon. But, hey we won the toss!!!!
Normally might agree but with the staff's approach to player integration I guess it wouldn't be shocking if he doesn't get activated for a few weeks, if at all
Just out of curiosity, how do you see the team finishing the season? Obviously anything can happen, but just interested to see how optimistic fans think the rest of the season goes.
Even though the D played a rough game overall yesterday, they came up with 2 huge stands in the red zone (end of regulation and in OT) only to have Allen puke all over himself. It wouldn't shock me to think some players on D might be a little pissed about that. Even if true, who knows how big of an issue that would even be though.
Lately it has become the Allen Special.
Just realized the Patriots are in 4th place...one game behind us. Finishing in last place in the AFC east is suddenly not a ridiculous take at this point.
Mahomes gets the benefit of the doubt (which he has earned) because he has been absolutely stellar since he stepped in as a full time starter. His career has been historic thus far into a career. While the Chiefs slipped mid-season last year, they have superb coaching and a generation QB at the helm...they were always going to figure it out. Not so sure with this staff and QB. I think Allen will have a fine/great career but he'll never be anywhere near where Mahomes is.
