The only caveat is that he was on the left side last year..
From what I have read Saffold is LG leaving an inexperienced pairing of Bates and Brown on the right….
Anyway… it’s obvious they like both of them so onwards and upwards..
People were saying all of 2021 that Morse was going to retire at the end of last season….I think some underestimate this guy
When did Morse have his last concussion?
I recall that people have been talking about his concussions since he got here but he has seemed pretty durable to me these past couple of years..
However…I don’t think he will be here either come 2024…particular at those numbers …but the concussion thing probably won’t be the reason…
I don’t think Center is a need now this season… I would roll the dice and push it out to next year… Assume Bates is the backup C in 2022…
Isn’t this the opposite to “kick the can”?
They are paying him now.. not later..
Not a 100 percent sure though as it’s a saying I don’t hear where I am from…
Hey buddy… talk about whatever you want…
If you read your post that I responded to, I’m trying to explain to you why this discussion about Diggs may be different to what happens on “ the entire board”..
Yeah but there is a difference speculating on a player to draft or pick up in free agency or to re-sign which is kinda the point of these boards… particularly in the offseason….
But trying to analyse what a player “means” when he posts an emoji or cryptic tweet… I dunno about that … just my opinion…
I have totally tuned out to mock drafts so far this offseason…
The ones that occur before free agency are certainly a complete waste of time in my view..
But now that FA is all but over… I might start doing a bit of research before the draft…not much else NFL wise happening …
The Browns dead cap figure for Keenum is on Spotrac ..
Doesnt include any salary…just his pro rata signing bonus and roster bonus..

I think Beane is back shopping if Bates walks…he has $2.3 M to spend if he doesn’t have to pay this to Bates which is probably enough to sign two more bargain bin types like this guy…
I understand the Browns only paid his $1M roster bonus a few days ago which is seperate to his salary…
As to why he agreed to come to Buffalo for less money… perhaps at this stage of his career he is looking to be on a team that can win the championship… also he figures he may be able to sign again at Buffalo in 2023 if things go well…
