    If he makes the team he will be playing real time (not mop up) at some stage of the season, given inevitable injuries that our guys on D regularly get and that there is only 4 guy at the position …and considering his salary is fully guaranteed it’s likely he will be making the team …

    i would even be happy if he just develops into an adequate starter or even the Safety 3 role in 2026 … I suspect that Washington might have kept him on a minimum deal if he was giving off Hyde/Poyer vibes ..

    Im a little perplexed by this … I could see them drafting a guy than having Draft pick, Hamlin and Forrest battling it out for two spots ..can see a real chance Hamlin being odd man out …

    Beane tried to trade up with NYG at #2, Browns at #4 and Broncos at #5 …. Elway has been quoted as saying overlooking JA was the worst call he made as a GM, and I’m sure the other two would at least privately agree … It has turned out to be the biggest draft pick the Bills have ever made … but probably a little bit of luck and bad management from the others in hindsight

    This topic of moving up into the Top 10 ( or 5) has been brought up every year since they have been in the playoffs …. last year it was for Marvin Harrison and Odunze … imagine doing that, and now sitting here with no first and only one second, and wishing you had of at least taken Nabers instead ..

    They had their chance to get a guy via trade like Metcalf ( or someone else) and didn’t do it ….Cap hit this year would have been around $7m … if they didn’t make that move ..can’t see them making this one ..even if they could find a willing partner which is equally unlikely in my mind ..

    They won’t be moving down to 30…if at all … Last year a number of people here wanted to move into the Top 10 to take Rome Odunze…. Aren’t you glad that didn’t happen?

    I think the CB class has some prospects …its just a matter of them hitting on the right one …people mention Elam but McDermott picked Tre White …. Maybe let him have the final say this time
