  1. Congrats from a broken-hearted Stros fan. Every team I love or adopt gets hexed!!!
  2. Look, even missing 2 defensive starters, they are in the top 10 in defense. I am not thrilled with Gray, but based on the overall performance of the D you just get this done & lock him in when you can. Period.
  3. Awesome link Jay, thanks! You are the man!
  4. Why does everyone keep saying this? WM wasn't playing their offense! Miami still has a decent offense.
  5. I can speak from experience here. Without getting into specifics, my name made me RIPE for ribbing for the first 16 years of my life. You deal with it, OK? It prepares you for the difficulties that life brings, and it prepares you for dealing with the many a$$wipes that confront you throughout your life. Ultimately, it's a character builder. In the long run it's not a big deal and the kid will become a better adult as a result. Don't decide on your kid's name based on the possible reactions of a few 3rd grade goofballs, decide based on what you want the kid to ultimately become. It worked in my case, right?
  6. OK, I played a lot of ball growing up & used to know this but why do some first basemen wear helmets in the field? Olerud did, the old Red Sox 1B George Scott used to also, but why? Was it just because NY fans like to throw batteries? Help?
  7. As a GM there is a lot on your plate (so I imagine). At some point in time you need to look at the contract status of the coaches. You get things done when they finally fall in place & get done. You are reading way too much into the timing - it is not meant to be a smokescreen. Were you thinking that Gray's signing was like Prez Bush capturing Bin Laden and then holding off on announcing it until days before the election? That's just whacked.
  8. Absolutely. This town (Buf not Houston) will go wild if we win 3 in a row. People will be buying their SB tickets...and I will be one of them.
  9. I'm shaking over Morris pitching tonight for the Cards. BF, you talk a lot of IF's. If the Cardinals win, If this and IF that. It's really not that impressive. BTW, IF the Bills win all the rest of their games they'll win the SB. Sounds great doesn't it?
  10. I think Dudeman is Steve Miller. Damn that orange border is tough to look at.
  11. I think TD targets certain positions & looks around the league to see who might be offered as trade bait based on various teams' circumstances (i.e., like the Bills & Sam Adams). They probably make a few calls because they have to, but they probably do not expect much to happen because most often it does not.
  12. As far as I'm concerned, until he loses he's not overrated.
  13. I believe! I DO I DO I DO I DO I DO.......
  14. uuuhhh, Mr. BF? You just proved that it WORKED!!!!!!! Go Stros!!!!!!!!
  15. I love it, I love it!!!!! Go Stros!!!!!!!!
  16. I agree. "Starting" is not that big of a deal.
  17. Tasker ABSOLUITELY bends over backwards to try not to appear as a homer. There is no question about it, and yes it is annoying. Unfortunately, when I switch to the Field Pass audio it is consistently about 1.5 plays behind Sunday Ticket so that doesn't work either. Still, it's hard to complain when we win.
  18. Any info is appreciated. Thx.
  19. No, I don't know that. I really don't study or keep track of other's opinions. Get over yourself please. Thanks.
  20. McGahee makes it look that way.
  21. Let me give 2 examples: 1) Moulds convincing MM to replay that "catch" over the middle. How could he really think MM should have reviewed it, he clearly juggled the ball & never had possession. Doesn't he know he made no "football move"? 2) Izell Reese raising his hands in protest after faceguarding in the EZ. What is he thinking there? Of COURSE it was a penalty. Also, why didn't he look back for the ball - he knew he was running out of EZ? Anyone else concerned?
  22. Let's hope so.
