  1. 96% 6 miles off, tried to pretend Massachusetts didn't exist (for many reasons)
  2. Woah. This bears some looking into by the WNY media. Maybe one of the crack reporters can actually break a story for once.
  3. If we were looking for perfection BEFORE putting players out on the field, the entire team would have stayed off the field Sunday night. This just in: the ENTIRE ROSTER wasn't ready for prime time on Sunday. Since we aren't making the playoffs, the standard has to change from "who gives us the best chance to win" to "what's the best way to get JP ready for next year". I think MM is on the right track with this (so far). You keep DB as the starter until you lose 1 more time (which should be soon). Then you go with JP from then on. It's not about this year folks, it's about next year. BTW, who else thinks that part of MM's thinking with putting JP in was to light a fire under DB and get him thinking a bit?
  4. I'll sign as soon as we know what happens to the Bills after he dies.
  5. BF, you are the Jerry Sullivan of TSW. Congratulations.
  6. I'm not sure exactly what his injury status is, but if he's close (as I thought he was) why isn't he in there yet? Izell Reese is a joke. Am I wrong to be impatient with Vincent slowly nursing himself back to health while our season goes down the tubes?
  7. You don't start Losman until you are mathematically out of it. Even if you have a shred of a chance you stay with your opening day starter. That's just how it is in the NFL. Remember how Wade was (rightly) crucified for quitting on his team? The same would happen to MM if he pulled the plug too soon.
  8. Izell Reese is an embarrassment. Troy Vincent has really let this team down. Time for him to suck it up and get in there.
  9. Maybe after Ralph dies, sure, but not before.
  10. Exactly. Why else would MM want to re-insert Troy Vincent at FS rather than CB? Obviously the brain trust sees Ike as more of a liability than McGee.
  11. I'm more interested to see how our O does against their D.
  12. It's OK - we can do it!! There's a lot of football left. It's going to be fun.
  13. Ice, I agree with you but only to a point. You were vocal last week after we beat the Cards, saying we hadn't beaten a good team yet. Now we took down the 6-1 Jets & you spew more negativity (tho a little less venomous). Why not say 1 think positive? You would have more credibility if you weren't so pathologically negative all the time. When the Bills score a TD do you moan that we have to kick to the other team?
  14. With our OL opening up the running game for Willis, we don't need Drew to be great. That's the beauty of smashmouth football.
  15. Pretty shallow analysis - we know McGahee is gaining bigger chunks of yards. I wanted to read your opinion about WHY he is doing so. I think it's due to superior vision & power, regained speed to the outside and above all, he has the patience of Thurman behind his blockers. The burst is definitely coming back!!!!!!!!
  16. I agree, Gray's halftime adjustments have been exceptional all year. Still no 100 yard rushers against us this year! Very impressive!
  17. Hang in there Big Mike!
  18. San Antonio also. Obviously the national game and the Bills rose to the occasion!
  19. Thanks Bob, we appreciate an opposing fan with class.
  20. 9-7? Why not?
  21. We are officially on the move. Just beat a 6-1 team handily. With a great offensive game plan and (possibly) getting Vincent back, why can't we beat NE?
  22. Can we put this to rest?
  23. And what are you? Gray didn't coach McGee to play shallow or to fall down.
