Don't you see how Bill Clinton's childish, undisciplined and undignified behavior as Governor and President contributed to the moral decline of the country? And how Ricky Williams' behavior affects the choices kids make? If you accept the money and fame that goes along with these high profile positions, you also must accept your status as a role model and acknowledge that your actions are widely seen and judged. You also have to accept responsibility for being a cultural leader - for better or worse. Too bad for all of us that people like Clinton and Ricky simply weren't up to the task. Instead of accepting responsibility for their actions, they simply rationalize their behavior so that they can sleep at night (although I suspect Ricky doesn't have a problem sleeping.)

Either he is one big joke, or they are really just grooming him for the free safety position and he's not quite ready yet. I think the joke angle is more realistic.

JS' credibility, like that of many posters here, is lessened greatly when he fails to discuss the positives as adamantly as he discusses the negatives. Sadly, JS and TSW posters have learned that negativity sells papers and it makes for long threads.

It's very revealing that Weiler's comments about negative aspects of the team run far longer than his positive ones. Also, his continual use of the nicknames "Humpty" and "Commander Tom" severly erode any claim he hopes to make as an "impartial" observer of the Bills. He writes as though he has an ax to grind against this organization - does he think it doesn't show?

I am no Drew apologist but facts are facts, whether you like DB or not - we have won 5 of the last 7 (with Drew), and at least 2 of the first 4 losses had nothing to do with Drew. Had THE TEAM won 2 of the first four, we would be at 7-4 and totally in the thick of the playoff race! How can this be seen as an indictment of Drew? Spoiled moronic fans like ICE seem to expect nothing less than total domination, apparently like in the Levy era. News flash - even in the Levy era we won a LOT of close games and were less than dominant, week-to-week. I'll say again what I've said all year, of course the record is disappointing but this team is NOT as bad as it's record. Don't let the spoiled brats on this board fool you.

Funny that you guys like that commercial, because I absolutely HATE it. PM makes, what, $12M per year and (as I see it) he's basically making fun of football fans who idolize people like him. I think it makes hardcore NFL fans look like saps, getting through their pathetic little lives by living from Sunday to Sunday. Not that I am one of them...
