  1. Just a bit more salt - Fox reported yesterday during the game that our OL was the BIGGEST in the NFL.
  2. I agree that this is a factor in what happened yesterday. The only time our players are exposed to inclement weather is when they are out Christmas shopping for their wives. DJ's decision to practice indoors may make sense sometimes, but not every day.
  3. POST OF THE YEAR in my opinion. And the commentary about Ralph placing a premium on his front office staff doing HIS bidding is right on the money as well. The one constant through all the losing is Mr. Wilson - if he ever gets tired of losing, he should either take a long hard look in the mirror, or sell the team.
  4. I'm starting to regret passing my love of the Bills onto my son. Talk about setting a kid up for a rough life (Sundays at least)! It's like passing on a defective gene to your kid! Well, at least it won't be long until there are no more Buffalo Bills - at least he has a CHANCE at happiness.
  5. These are the 3 statements I actually agree with.
  6. $95 per hour (and even $47) to stand there with a screwdriver all day? As Obama's buddy likes to say, "the chickens have come home to roost." No company can afford to pay those kind of ridiculous wages and stay afloat. Way to go unions!
  7. You mean you are looking for POISE?
  8. I live for the Bills as much as anyone, but it has been very hard to "enjoy" what I've seen the last month. And the worst part is, I am starting to regret that I have conditioned my son to be a Bills' fan. Have I scarred him by connecting him with this perennial loser of a franchise?
  9. This stunning public admission came from our Stanford-educated QB: “The hardest thing that is happening to me — this happened early in the season, and it’s happened the past couple of games — is that I’m preparing for defenses that we’re not really getting on Sundays or Monday night and they didn’t really bring the defense that we thought the Browns played against the Broncos,” Edwards said. “That’s what we’re practicing out here on the practice field all week and then we’re facing an entirely different defense...." Translation (what opposing defensive coordinators heard): "I have neither the experience nor the preparation from my coaches during the week to overcome unexpected wrinkles thrown at me from opposing defenses. If you play a defense that's against the tendencies you've shown on film, you will likely beat us." In stating this, Trent has inadvertently handed 31 other teams the key to beating the Bills - all you have to do is self-scout your defense, and gameplan against type. Throw something different at the Bills' offense, and you greatly increase your chances of winning. Thanks Trent - your honesty (naivete?) will keep getting us beat. And you may have just sabotaged your own career.
  10. You say he has "the mental game" to turn it around - and you are basing this observation on what? Did you grow up with him, see him overcome obstacles in the past and persevere? Are you his psychologist? Seen evidence on the field of a resurgent confidence? Please explain, because I've seen no such evidence.
  11. OK, I'll bite. Please provide a media reference or link to support this statement.
  12. You are kidding right? I don't call struggling against a 3-6 team at home a "good time".
  13. If you were a billionaire owner of an NFL team, would you want Jim Kelly being YOUR spokesman?
  14. - Rode an all-star roster (or should I say multi-Hall of Famer roster?) to 4 SB's. - Was outcoached in 4 SB's - the game that above all others, is the test of your coaching and scheming. - Lousy GM with consistently poor free agent pickups. - As GM, more interested in commercial endorsements and talking to the little orange dude in the locker room than making the team better. Do you know of ANY GM on ANY team in ANY sport who had more commercial exposure during his tenure?
  15. I HATE that one - almost as much as I hate "we have a chance to win". I'm not saying Jauron should be cocky or provide bulletin board material to the other team, but quit acting and sounding so tentative! This mindset definitely rubs off on the team. As cerebral as Marv was (not that I'm a Marv fan by any means), he at least understood that a little fire once in awhile was a good thing.
  16. I was thinking the whole game that DJ coaches scared. His even keel has sent us straight to the bottom of the division.
  17. That's our Dick. And we have Dick for 3 more years! WooHoo!!!!!
  18. I think our losses were more exciting with JP under center.
  19. The catch out of bounds is on Jauron and his lame challenge. The illegal motion call was Jason Peters rocking on his heels - pretty obvious.
  20. I CAN'T STAND MARV AS A GM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
