The article's headline and slant is VERY misleading. Kim was crystal clear in her radio interview that going into the process, in the PREDECISIONAL phase, Rex wasn't seen as a front runner. She made the point clearly that NOBODY was. How does this get spun as Rex not being a first "choice"? You don't make a "choice" before you start the interview process! Hey, I guess it triggers more clicks than the headline "Pegulas Open-minded Going Into Selection Process".

Don't confuse effort with results.

There's a good chance that Kromer was seeking to coach in a smaller media market, downshift back to OL coach and reboot his career. I'm glad that Rex gave him his chance here. Between Roman and Kromer we can be a nasty offense to play.

I have the same skepticism as you John, maybe more. I think it's very predecisional right now, with lots of staff conversation to take place in the coming days about what the Bills want to do. Whaley has come out and said: "we’re going to try to do our darndest to get this guy in the fold and get him back...I’m sure he’s disappointed with how last year went with the injuries, but we want him to come back with us and get back to the form we know he can play at.” But I'm not convinced. Maybe Whaley is pumping him up out of loyalty or possibly to get a rival (Jets?) to eat a chunk of their cap trying to "lure" him away from us. I say that because just before Whaley gave his quote, Rex said this about Spiller: “I’ve met C.J. and obviously I have a great deal of respect for him having to try to stop him and things,” said Ryan. “One thing I think that he’s going to understand about me is I’m going to tell him what I believe to be the truth. All players seem to appreciate that.” That's not flattery coming from Rex, it's more like, "I have some hard coaching for you, son." Such as, "I love ya but learn to pass protect and hit holes hard or you have no place on my team". I predict that in the end, Spiller will NOT be back.

Q, you raise a good point. It's apparent that there's uncertainty today about where all the power and final decision making authority lies. I imagine that Terry's view is, "you guys (Whaley and Ryan) figure stuff out, debate it, and if you need a tiebreaker, come see me." I think that approach can work in the honeymoon stage and before anything fails, but as time goes on Terry will have to formalize the process and roles further.

Here's what I consider - the marketing task is harder than you think. The Billls have a season-ticket base of only around 42,000 and their ticket prices are the lowest in the league. More than likely, premium seat and suite revenues are in the lowest tier in the league. The interest is there, but the dollars are not. If I owned the team, I would not accept a complacent marketing staff.

This "article" seems to be 180 degrees out from credible. Poorly written, pathetically vague and completely unsourced (except for the Jacobs quote which actually has nothing to do with the "news" he's breaking that the stadium may be coming soon). I love this: "Those closes (sic) with the current stadium executives think the decisions for the new stadium will be finalized within the next couple months, and that the new stadium may be built as early as the 2017 season." 1) I guess the author doesn't know that "the current stadium executives" means Poloncarz, because the County owns the stadium. 2) Both Poloncarz and Cuomo are on record as questioning the need for a new stadium. Yet according to Scott "scoop" Jensen they know this is happening and have remained quiet about it until this guy breaks the story. Embarrassing to UNC that the guy claims to be an alumnus.

Two questions. One, does your opinion take into account the Jets' personnel decisions over the last few years? Two, do you know who John Idzik is?

RWS' club seats already have a license fee embedded into the annual "member" cost. The license fee is not shown on the physical tickets, however. As I understand it, the license portion of the cost is unshared revenue so the Bills get 100% of that.

PSL's will happen in some form in Buf, no doubt. I think the Vikings new stadium has more reasonable prices, probably more in line with Buffalo's pricing structure.I have 8-10 years to save up. A higher-end wedding for my daughter or 40 yard line seats forever? Hmmm.

After reading the article linked on page 4 of the "Browns part ways with Kyle Shanahan" thread, this scenario makes me very nervous. If what's stated there is true, it speaks very poorly for both Dad and son.
