  1. Production went down because Houston moved him to a nose tackle..... Idiots. The man is a solid 3 tech lineman.
  2. He's 21 and felt disrespected.
  3. The only question would be is DL what they want to use the first round pick on? Jonah Williams would be a nice finishing touch to the O line overhaul they have done. Hockinson would be the #1 TE we have desperately wanted. Metcalf would be a shot at a #1 WR. If White falls to us our LBs would be set for years. Or do they trade back? DL sure looks like it has a hole at the 3 tech and will certainly need an edge rusher by 2020. This is going to fun.
  4. This draft is loaded and I mean loaded at DL. He will slip out of the top 5 for sure and QBs will push him back more. I've seen mocks between #7-#15. If we traded up for a DL it would be Bosa, Allen or Q. Williams.
  5. Beane will do his homework on Oliver for sure. Probably just a young man being a young man
  6. Those may not be NFL talented players he's bowling over but they are still 300 pound dudes. You beat the Patriots by pressuring Brady. There you go.
  7. Sean McDermott after Beane told him Oliver was visiting.
  8. The University of Houston didn't use him in the 3 technique much this year. They tried moving him around a bit. His numbers dropped for sure. But my goodness. Put the man child back at 3 technique and sit back and watch the disruption. He lives in opponents backfields. His size is a little smaller then scouts like and that's why Williams jumped him in rankings. This is an absolutely loaded D line draft and that's why he would be available at #9. Normal years he is a top 5. My man crush has been strong since September with Oliver. I also love Q. Williams but he will be long gone by #9.
  9. Yup. I think Ed Oliver is an obvious fit if we stay at #9. Beane and McDermott will litterly run the card up themselves if he is still on the board and we own the pick. DE and DT look like needs. Bosa and Allen are the best DE's and Williams and Oliver are the best DT's. Specifically a 3 tech DT is the need which Oliver is. It looks like he will go between picks 7-15. So not reaching for a player that not only fits a hole but will make that hole a strength, count me in.
  10. It's because Houston didn't use him as a 3 tech. His sack and tackle numbers dropped.
  11. Ed Oliver was NOT used correctly at the University of Houston. They almost never used him as a 3 Tech lineman which is his strong suit. I will admit that you probably can't move him around and get the same production out of him. McDermotts defense requires a 3 tech, if we draft him we won't need to worry about that position until his rookie contract is up. He's that good at that position. No he's not Kyle Williams but he would plug a big hole up front for McDermott at a low cost for 4/5 years at least.
  12. I definitely feel like if we stay at #9 it will be DL. Either DT or DE, with DT seeming like what will be available unless someone drops or we reach a little. I would take Ed Oliver all day long. He is an ideal 3 technique lineman but Houston didn't use him in that front much. He could come in and fill the void left by Williams day one. On a side note I would be interested to know who people would take if we had the #1 pick? Bosa, Williams or Allen? I would take Bosa hands down.
  13. It's starting to look like the Bills might be zeroing in on the DL at #9. Oliver would be the 3 technique that McDermott needs for his defense. If they went OL I wouldn't complain but adding 4 players through FA is quite a haul so I would imagine they use the 1st pick somewhere else. The WR room is a little full right now and they did add a TE in FA. DL is my guess unless they can get a pass Rusher between now and then. If that happens then it truly will be BPA.
  14. Beane is a good young general manager. He came in here with a plan and so far seems to be nailing it. He saw that we had been treading water for years and needed a rebuild. Put a great staff together and started the process. He took the players of value that we had and got everything he could for them via trades. He ate all the dead money in one season ( 2018 ). He was able to go into this FA period with more than $75 million and will probably have around that amount next season. He is signing players to smart team friendly contracts that the Bills can get out of in a season or two but options to remain longer. It's a breath of fresh air to see a GM have a plan about roster building. He's a smart man and I hope the Pegulas and the fan base give him a little slack when something inevitably goes wrong somewhere. He's earning that trust with everyday that passes.
  15. Our O line is in MUCH better shape right now then the Jets. Yes they added Bell but they didn't drastically improve their Line so it's going to tough to run for Bell. He's not in Pittsburgh anymore. Don't even talk to me about what the jets added to their DF7. I will take our D all day long. You call yourself a Bills fan? Good one.
  16. His name is in the second report and he was home when his sons arm was broken.
  17. Don't forget we have their Center now also ?.
  18. Yeah I didn't look close enough at first either. It wouldn't shock me to see him be released though.
  19. I'll be happy to pass judgement now. He already has a conviction of beating his pregnant wife. Thats enough for me to judge and should be for any human being. If the new allegations are true this dude needs to be done with the NFL.
  20. Patriot fans not flipping him off just because he scored a TD. He is human waste.
  21. Second time offender of the league domestic violence policy. Technically the first one was while in college but I don't think Rodger will care.
  22. If he beat his kid he has topped beating his pregnate wife which is impossible to think of.
  23. If true the league needs to come down hard on this guy. Bye bye. Everytime I watched him play this year his beating his pregnate wife is all I could think of. How was the League ok with him playing. Great role model for kids.
  24. He is one.player I have no use for. It's like the Cubs winning the world series because of Aroldis Chapman the wife beater. Makes me sick.
