If Poyer makes anything north of that, Bills played their hand wrong. Could have got JC, traded Poyer (picked up Mathieu), and used your #1 on BPA and not forced to take a CB out of need (Bean admitted this during post draft press conference). Nothing I say to this will change your mind on due process or the right to a fair trial. Lawyers don’t determine who is/isn't guilty, the jury does. Lawyers are there to ensure the defendants get a fair trial , that is all. This like hating on a military doctor that revives an adversary combatant. His lawyers job is to ensure this dingus receives a fair trial. If LE or the DA screw things up that’s on them, not on the lawyer or the accused. People so quick to assume all lawyers are scum when really it’s the nature of their job when representing people charged with heinous crimes.

Meh, I see what you’re saying but why draft him if you expect nothing from him? There has to be some form of expectation for the team to draft him, a progression plan at the very least. Understand that more 6th round picks don’t pan out than do and that expectations for a 1st and second round pick are different than a 6th, but I’ll argue there are still expectations.

IMO Knox is a top 10 TE. Looking at the 2021 stats he ranks 14th in yards per game but only six of the TE’s ahead of him have a higher yards per reception and he ranks 20th in TE targets. Knox was also tied for 1st in touchdowns. That’s pretty impressive to me.

Brown have $109M in tied cap charges for Watson, Cooper and Garrett in 2023. For comparison, the Bills have $79M in 2013 cap charges for Allen, Diggs and Miller. $30M more for a QB who may still never play again, a WR who is way over rated and amazing pass rushing talent who is a complete lunatic and a dumb move away from a long term suspension.
