Ah yes, the same Iowa game where CJ Johnson dropped an easy bomb in the endzone. Wasn't Allen's best game for sure, but the talent around him in 2017 compared to 2016 was like going from a Mercedes to a Ford Pinto. Wyoming lost C (Redskins), WR (Bears), WR (Saints), TE (Patriots) and RB (Bengals) after the 2016 season. The 2017 squad was bad yet he still managed to get them to a bowl game and win.

Thank God the Jets didn't pick him at three. I attended most of the Wyoming home games and my seat was along the stairwell by the press boxes and I remember seeing the Jet scouts all the time.

Because many of these scouts and GMs are like some of the know-it-alls here at TBD where only big boys from big boy programs who put up big time college stats can only be successful. Remember the heated debate this summer where forum members were saying Fromm was gonna challenge Allen for the job. That was a fun debate; of course many of those posters are eating their words now.

I got you, but what I am saying is they drove down there pretty much at ease doing what they do. But once KC scored 14, I feel they went into "trying to keep up mode" instead of doing what they best in heavy running and play action.
