  1. I have just watched the clips posted here on this thread, what on Earth were you looking at? Let me guess you saw the tubby college picture and decided that was enough for an analysis? I see a guy killing DT #99 (Al Woods) for Indy over and over again, making his life miserable After stuffing #99 on most plays he then looks to the second level and is quick enough to pancake #53 a few times. #53 is Darius Leonard, the Defensive Rookie of the Year and First team All-pro. go figure you can block more than one guy on a single play, even a DROY/ All Pro... On the last play of the Indy clip he takes DE #92 (Margus Hunt) all away across the field and pancakes him Against SF he easily diagnoses his assignment and uses #99 DT Sheldon Day's momentum against him and the defender gets a face full of turf. Mongo then goes hunting on the second level again and blows up LB Elijah Lee (#47). The Raiders probably let Kelechi Osemele go because they had Feliciano to fill in the void. The Jets stole their friend and then the Bills stole their lunch money. I urge you to watch those clips. That big guy doing his job on the line, then blowing up linebackers after is Feliciano. This was a tremendous under the radar pick up.
  2. Watch these highlights, he is lined up right to Center from this view (LG). This dude is a mauling beast! He destroys tackles and is always looking second level. On the last play he clears his guy all the away across the field and pancakes him. And his nickname is 'Mongo?' I may have a new favorite Buffalo Bill. Meet your new LG guys. Dawkins life just got a lot easier.
  3. !WHEW! Frank and Co still taking one for the team
  4. Keep in mind they have 3 first round picks in a deep DL/ Edge draft
  5. does a guy with that haircut have money? ^ Well documented Raiders are cash poor, and it starts with Davis. the move to Las Vegas is a known cash grab.
  6. in 4 years Kroft has 67 for 661 8 TD in 3 years Uzomah has 79 769 5 TD Just saying ah the day of the Big Race!
  7. Wrong Bengal TE. They really misspelled Uzomah. Spellng bee host, "Brandon Beane, please spell Uzomah. It's tricky so sound it out." Beane, "K-R-O-F-T" Spelling bee host, "Sorry that is incorrect and will cost you 6 million dollars."
  8. Perhaps a fellow like Ty Montgomery from Iowa State in round 3-4?
  9. At $88,803,013 this year the Bills (and Jets) are far and away the lowest teams for spend. About 30-40 million less than the average. 2018 was last year. Both teams will have to boost spend to meet the 4 year minimum for 2019. My point is to front load a few OL on 2-3 yr deals since the spend has to increase. OL FA is deep. DT/WR draft is deep. Bills need all of the above.
  10. taking that in get Morse or Paradis on a 2-3 yr contract, and draft Biadasz next year.
  11. I thought Wood was easily replaced before Groy stepped in, and I was wrong. Wood was a very good C. Teams still have to build inside out. QB C OT DT DE Take care of these positions and the rest falls in line. Right now the Bills have QB - Good - Allen C - Poor - Bodine get Morse or Paradis and draft one in round 3-4 OT - Disaster - Glenn and Mills - grab D Williams (he fills an OT and a Williams ), draft one in round 1-2 - move Glenn to LG. Williams/rookie/Glenn as backup is great DT - Poor - Star and a bunch of guys, Deep DT draft, get a stud DE- OK - Hughes/Murphy/Lawson can be upgraded. Help Hughes. Murphy is ok when he is in, but an injury waiting to happen. Lawson is ok terrible at pass rush Buffalo has a QB to build around and needs C/OT/DT/DE and OG. FA offers RT/C/OG - spend the money. Get them in and draft BPA OL DT/DE - just so happens this is a deep DT and solid DE draft, what a coincidence C/T/G are available in FA - go get them, cap room is there, floor has to be met, overspend and help JA and Shady out. DT/DE - keep the DE we have (Phillips at DT is a good extension) and draft a DT in a stud DT draft. Add a Jesse James/Uzomah at TE and a Crabtree/Tate/Stills at WR and something is there. Grab Collins at OLB as insurance to Lorx (age) and Milano (injury) that is my off-season plan
  12. Because he was a First Team All-American Athletic Conference selection at Guard in college. Dawkins received an invitation to the Senior Bowl and started at guard for the North team. Dawkins was named the Senior Bowl's top offensive lineman. He improved his draft stock after practicing and performing well during the Senior Bowl. The majority of NFL draft experts and analysts projected him to be a second round pick. He was ranked the second best guard in the draft by Sports Illustrated, was ranked the third best guard by ESPN, the third best interior offensive lineman by NFL analyst Mike Mayock, and was ranked the fourth best offensive tackle by NFL analyst Bucky Brooks and NFLDraftScout.com He was drafted when Cordy Glenn, who is a natural LT, was here to step into Incognito's shoes. Incognito got extended and Glenn got injured and the LG became a LT. He is not good at RT. His position is on the left side of the line. It's where his move and feet take him. Some guys can play both sides, some can't. Dawkins can play LT, but is a natural and potentially dominating LG. He should play the role he was drafted for, Incognito's replacement.
  13. Me too, always liked Jamie Collins, even as a Pat. The scuttlebutt is that his play didn't match his big price tag. He had over 100 tackles last year but his sacks/ PD/ FF were down. He wasn't making enough 'explosive plays'. I'd be aok bringing him in and rotating him and LorAx at OLB with Milano and Edmunds. LorAx is getting up there in age and Milano is coming off a terrible injury. Jamie Collins is beautiful insurance at OLB in both situations and allows a 3 man rotation at OLB. I'm sure he would like 2 cracks or more at the Pats each year. I also like Humphires. Collins/ Humprhies/ James/ Uzomah/ Crabtree/ Tate. These are the type of vet playmakers I want Buffalo to start adding. Spend like drunken sailors on the lines to get to the spending base, but have a plan to rotate them out in the next 2+ yrs. Backfill or keep signing the Collins/Humphries/James of the NFL world. If one 'clicks' extend him. If not let him walk after 2-3 years.
  14. yet the Browns are potential trade partners. Yet many here said K Mack is not a possibility....
  15. so its possible Dawkins - LT Saffold - LG Morse - C Zeitler - G Williams - T ok worth every pick and penny. Pretty sure McCoy would be thrilled. this is a 2 yr line, have to draft replacements, but.... yeah 2 years.Gives 2 years time.
  16. Offer them the 5th (BUF or OAK) and 7th (CAR) extra picks we got from trades. If not the 4th (KC) and 7th (CAR) for him. At worst 4th (KC) and 5th (BUF) after that walk. Zeitler at G is an instant improvement.
  17. agreed, if a top OL or DL falls take him. Trade back if needed, don't reach on DK Metcalf. A lot of 2-4 round WR available.
  18. Too much stud DL/ front seven talent, or even a top OL to slip past #9 to take a risk on a DK Metcalf.
  19. Metcalf has bust written all over him just like I said Josh Rosen has bust written all over him he has no history of production he has 2 years, couldn't commit he has 0 lateral movement, Brady did better in the combine I DONT LIKE DK METCALF AS AN NFL PLAYER. PERIOD.
  20. Beane waiting for that! Morse is also good. Front load all of these OL contracts. All of them, pay them to play here now, and maybe next year and then move on. Most are older OL or have injury concerns. 2-3 yrs front loaded. 3 yrs 25-35 million with a 5-8 million guaranteed signing bonus paid right now. Even if 3 bit at an 8 million dollar payout this year, there is @ 30-40 million to work with for a game changer or to roll over. You can still add a James/Uzomah TE and a Crabtree/Tate/Stills at WR. Very few current FA OL are long term solutions, but could be a great 2-3 yr tire patches. It still means draft OL in rounds 3-6 but it does not cost the franchise to do so and OBD can go BPA in rounds 1-3. I addressed this earlier in the thread. He has played less LT than I thought, but would still be a huge upgrade over Mills. You are correct.
  21. The thing is Buffalo is dangerously close to the league floor in spending now. Why not go after FA OL and then go BPA? it seems very logical. Zeitler or Saffold at G, Paradis or Morse at C, D Williams at OT. Add in a Tate/Crabtree/Stills or Lockett at WR or Jesse Jame/ Uzomah while you are at it? Will still have $ left over and get a good mix of young and older, injury and no injury payers. Then draft BPA. Imagine signing Saffold, Morse, D Williams. Ok on OL for 2 yrs. Don't reach on a weak OL class. Take a Crabtree/ Tate for 2-3 yrs. No need to reach on a WR. If an Ed Oliver falls to 9 you take him. No questions asked. If a Gary, Polite, Ferrell falls move back and draft or take one. If OT Taylor, Little or Ford falls take them or move back. Buffalo is in a very very special place right now. It's very exciting!
