Decent signing, more weapons for Josh is always good. Still need to target a WR at 28 IMO.
Draft our #2 and future #1 in draft. Diggs, Rookie, Samuel, Shakir. Then Hollins, Shorter, Hamler, Isabella, Shavers, Thompson fight it for final 2 spots.

Have you seen what top WR are getting the last couple of years? Heck, Samuel is getting what Zay Jones and JuJu are signed for.
It's a middle cost WR contract to me.
He is a middle wr. Solid signing for a guy that will likely start but not a bargain or anything.

Poyer and Siran are studs now?!?
Poyer has lost a step, has seen better days and can barely keep healthy....and Siran?......well, i don't know how he still has a job.
I have no idea how these guys are studs.
#wtfconfused
No but Fuller, Barrett, Brooks, Smith, Brewer, Poyer are all potential starers. Plus depth in Gallimore, Jones, Neal, Walker, Mack. They have done way more than us.

Still got Tua right ?Yes the same Tua that threw for 4600 yards. You could do a lot worse than Tua. With his weapons he just has to get rid of the ball. A healthy and better OL will help them.

MIA still has Hill, Waddle, Achane and Moster. They added Smith at TE which is an upgrade. Brewer is a solid add at C.
D is the concern after losing Wilkins and Howard, but they do have Chubb and Phillips coming back, plus added Poyer, Brooks and Barrett.
I dont see how they have lost more than the Bills. With the O they will always be a tough match up. We are move question marks when it comes to impact players.
And now that added Fuller to replace Howard

Then we pick someone random like Worthy from Texas. He sucks and the first we traded next year turns out to be the next Jerry Rice.

I’d like to remind everyone that there is an absolute ton of starting quality talent out there still.
Which is all those "complaining" are asking the Bills to pursue. But so many want to defend the lack of activity with we dont need anyone else. The guys we lost sucked and will be easily replaced by the back ups already on the roster or our once in a generation draft that produces 6 hall of fame level immediate starters.

Yes. Thats why future cap is actually the more important number to look at. It’s also why I was shocked they didn’t restructure the max they could with Allen. Future cap looks good.
To me that is the concern. The fact they didnt max out the Allen rertrux. Plus, limited extensions or restrux on other guys. Not a single impact free agent signing. Either they are taking a year to reset (I hope they dont think this is a good move when you have Allen), dont have resources available to them, or dont think they need to do anything. The level of activity focused only on bring back guys that likely had very little interest from other teams to have a stable core of depth guys is odd.

It's not wrong to be cautious, but I haven't heard too many here say we'll struggle for a WC spot.
The AFC East simply isn't that good of a division. Miami is our biggest competition, and they have lost as much as we have this offseason, if not more. The Jets w/ Rodgers might be somewhat tough, but I don't see them taking the division.
As long as Allen stays healthy, I think the division title is more or less a given.
MIA still has Hill, Waddle, Achane and Moster. They added Smith at TE which is an upgrade. Brewer is a solid add at C.

He stopped injuring our own guys as much. Which, while half a joke, is also true and important.
He single-handedly ended the Dolphins game week 18 in back to back plays during their final drive, which could have tied/won the game. Crushing Hill with a knock out blow and breaking up the pass, and then intercepting Tua on the next play.
6 minutes ago, GunnerBill said:Yea he made a couple of plays at the end of the Miami game, agreed. I think people are rather extrapolating from that.
And he still only played 13 snaps in that game. Made the most of it, but was still viewed as backup role guy that can fill in at times.

I accept it. I just disagree with it.
Some on these boards do not allow disagreeing with any of the perfect genius that is the Bills coaches and front office. They are always right and you are always wrong. Accept that...

How does Mack Hollins have 24 pages?
Because we have literally signed only him and Morrow. WGR has had hours sent discussing him as well. This is a move in most other places would be barely noticed. We dont talk about KJ Hamler and I dont see much difference in terms of level of player.

At that price he simply just might’ve wanted to go to Miami. Still, we paid more for a worse player and that’s not good.
Agree with both. Hopefully Poyer is taking the move to Miami as a lifestyle move and checks out most of the season.

People keep saying this but I didn't see it.
Poyer was still playing 100% of the snaps down the stretch and in playoffs. Yet now the story is he was shot and Rapp is better. Ok. Our coaches must be incompetent to play Poyer over Rapp all season if that is the case. Its been said 100 times that its ok to let Poyer walk and move on from him. But to say having Rapp now is an upgrade is just fooling yourself to drink the kool aid that this is somehow a positive. The hope should be that Rapp plays the same role as a role player not a starter. And at $2M for 1 year that would have been a deal most would have sold as a positive having Poyer for one more year.

Poyer is just about done. His legs looked shot last year. He’s still a good player, but Bills are right to move on
Agree moving on. But at that price I bring him back as an insurance policy and let Lewis walk.

Poyer deal only 1 year/$2m. So we paid more for Rapp and Lewis. Interesting they would not bring back Poyer for 1 more year at that price but think Rapp and Lewis are worth bringing back.

According to their forty times, Hollins was faster, so you could factually say we got bigger, faster and got someone with better hands than Davis in Hollins for 1/8th of the cost
When was that 40 time? The guy is older than Diggs.

That's kind of cherrypicking w/ Sherfield & Harty. Did you like the Kincaid & Torrence picks? Did you like getting Floyd? Did you think Bernard would become the player he is, or that he was a bust?
We’ll most importantly last years team was not as good. It took everything they had and a late season push to get in the playoffs. The finish was not awful but can’t ignore what the season looked like.
i had mixed thoughts on Kincaid just because we needed a WR more than TE. I was concerned they would not utilize him correctly and was right about that. He still has a promising future though.
No issues with Torrence again other than where is our WR.
My concern last year and again this year is not having weapons for Josh. We spend too many resources on our depth bottom of the roster guys rather than bringing in a couple impact players. They are doing it again with these two to $3 million signings rather than a six to $8 million guy. That could easily be paid for by letting a cam Lewis walk or many other vets that could play Hollins role for less than three mil.

Armstead wife went to school in blo = he wants to play here for wife home school discount.

If they re-restructured JA’s contract tomorrow, would the two restructurings technically be in two separate league years?I don’t think it can be done again same year.

Kevin Massare made a good point on his video just now…
take the $ you were paying to Phillips, Settle and Ford…but instead of 3 fringe players you’re using it on a stud. Plus Arik is capable of playing multiple spots on the line
a team captain with the Niners and one of the better overall DL players in the NFC
IMO if we got him I’d mix in a package where Von is lined up as an “OLB” on passing downs
Rousseau Armstead Oliver EpenesaVon
If you want to stop the run….
Rousseau Jones Oliver Armstead
is a nasty front 4
Imagine if we did that at wr last year. These mid level contracts kill me.

CURTIS SAMUEL A BILL

He has been used in the slot more the past few seasons. He is similar to our Crowder signing I would say but hopefully this time pans out. Has more versatility but is not a down the field guy. Can use him on reverses or get creative on jetsweeps like McK. I would say combo of Beasley, McK, Crowder with a little Deebo.
