  1. Talk about burying the lead. How did Belichick's postgame comment from last night (which no one has any tape of) get its own thread, yet this beauty has been shunned? Rated R (for Rex)
  2. Wood sustained this injury trying to make a tackle following a Fitzpatrick INT. See...it's Fitz's fault!! He's not only overpaid and sucky, but he's also injuring our best players in evil, second-hand fashion. Damn Ivy Leaguer! (I beat the idiots to the punch, no need to hatch it on your own...)
  3. You oughta start by fixing yourself, because you sound pretty pathetic.
  4. There have been a ton of God-awful, left-field, moronic threads over the past 20 hours or so, but this one takes the blue ribbon.
  5. What have you done for me lately, right?
  6. True! The ball is still in our court, and we only have two AFC losses. Just gotta get back on the rails. At the same token, would you be alarmed if, at the start of the year, I also told you you'd lose in Weeks 9 and 10 by a combined 71-18 score?
  7. You don't think they had to change up the gameplan when it was 21-0? Or perhaps being down by three TDs midway through the first half puts greater, undue pressure on the offensive players to produce? They could have scored more than 7 points, but when you have to go for it on 4th down rather than kick a FG, that's what happens. If they scored a TD on the last play of the game and the score was 44-14, would that have made you feel better? And that's not even mentioning the drops by Jones and Spiller...
  8. Well written. It's hard to believe that each year's draft is like a repeat of the prior -- regardless of who is making the calls. I keep telling myself that one of these years our FO will hit a grand slam with our draft, at least the first couple of rounds anyhow. However, I don't feel as completely hopeless as I think you do. I like our "triplets" of Fitzpatrick, Jackson and Stevie on offense. And I like our offensive line as a whole, and I think there is outstanding individual talent there, also (Wood, Andy, Hairston). Do we need other pieces? -- yes of course! And we all know what those areas are. But, we're not that far away on that side of the ball. Defense is another story. 100% agree on the "Super Bowl" DC that we have waiting in the shadows. The time is now to make the change and to install a 4-3, which, let's face it, we moreso have the personnel to run. No way we should be running a 3-4 with our LB corps as thin as they are. (The "plan" to stock our D with 3-4 type of guys has been a failure mostly.) And Kyle and Dareus are suited to play side-by-side as interior linemen. I like the secondary's talent, but I think it is badly coached. Badly, badly, badly coached. That being said, I still like the progress we have made in Year Two, and I look forward to things getting better in spite of the last two Sundays. Btw, Antoine Winfield is the only FA that I was upset the Bills didn't resign (best open field tackler I can recall).
  9. As most have already stated, Good! And, you know what? I'm sure Rex Ryan wouldn't have an issue with it either. It's a put-up-or-shut-up league.
  10. That's a decision you make in a video game, not in OT against a division foe in reality. Smith is going to be torched for that one, and he rightly should. Furthermore, he basically shows zero faith in his defense by going that route.
  11. You guys have short memories. How many times have we seen Fitz curl up in a fetal position when pass rushers are bearing down on him? In other words, Edwards' pet move. Edwards isn't/wasn't half the competitor that Fitz is. That's why we fans back Fitz, while the other guy is M.I.A. Three games (one win), but who's counting?
  12. Oh please. That pick-six in garbage time was a fart in the wind. The game had been decided at that point. Hobart? Wow. My advice: stop eating crayonz.
  13. I saw that wide-angle replay, and the two far side slants inside of five yards were better options than a contested Donald Jones. But, we're splitting hairs. The Bills needed the Marines in order to win today's game.
  14. Yup, Peter King isn't a "normal" person, I guess. Or any of the other NFL pundits who applauded the contract. But, you, being the "normal" guy you are (who has watched at least four football games) knows best and can confidently speak for all of us. Thank you!!!
  15. I think I saw that exact phrase on a "NO FEAR" t-shirt years ago...
  16. I think we have talent in the secondary, but no one to coach it up and maximize it. ...Okay, McKelvin is a hack, but I really think there is talent there otherwise.
  17. Yup, Fitz gave up four TDs on four possessions in the first half.
  18. Really? The defense plays at a (bad) Pop Warner level today, yet it boils down to Fitz and his contract? Ugh. You are a weird dude/lady.
  19. Yeah, they should have thrown a 25+ yard prayer down the sideline to Donald Jones. You know, the typical Gailey third/fourth-and-short play call. (What the heck is the deal with that, by the way?)
  20. Yup. Was there a silver lining today? Awful, awful defense. Poor execution and play calling on offense. Turnovers. Injuries. And another blowout loss when the final gun sounded. To be over-the-top irate and pessimistic is understandable.
