But seeing players opt out, seeing how different this season will be, what a **** show MLB is and how the other sports just don't feel right, ehhhh... Seems unnecessary. Surely there was a better candidate to be let go. Maybe he came in out of shape. Or maybe he told them he was going to opt out. Who knows. Until they give me a season to doubt them, I will continue to trust McBeane.

From a players perspective, if you're going to suffer a long term injury this is definitely the year to do it. Get paid and avoid the **** show.

Honestly with all the signings this off-season it's not a huge loss. Hopefully this is the biggest hit we take as far as guys opting out.

For those in leagues where owners typically get together for the draft, what are you doing this year? Still getting together? Moving everything online? Video chatting? Making any adjustments to rosters/bench given the possibility of players missing time? Making any decisions now on what to do if season gets suspended/postponed/doesn't finish?

The pegulas are saviors for keeping the sabres and bills in buffalo and for what theyve done for the city. For anyone that wants to see the teams succeed... They are a major problem. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut ... That's what happened with McBeane. I have zero confidence in them righting the sabres ship which has been sinking for a while now.
