The production isn't really the issue. Good productive TEs are hard to find.
The issue is we are paying an average, low impact player in Knox $13M/yr.
That money put towards a solid #2 WR or RT would have much bigger impact on this offense.
The more I think about it the more I think the giants are the worst team in the NFL. They are just awful, everywhere. Literally do nothing well.
Will be between them and Carolina (Chicago has pick) for #1 pick.
They will not be as good as 2021 and they don't need to be. Even with the injuries, there isn't a team in the league putting up 40+ on this defense like the Chiefs did.
We still have one of the best d lines in the league.
The secondary is what concerns me.
Hyde and Poyer are slow and washed up. That gets masked with a dominant front 7. I'm not sure we have that anymore.
And we have ZERO CB depth. As of right now we are one injury away (Benford) from having Micah Hyde covering a teams best WR on the most critical play of the game.
Josh Jacobs doing an amazing job this year of showing why RBs should never get paid, ever.
NFL leading rusher to completely incapable of gaining one yard.
