McDermott calling the D: what'd ya think?
Cheektowaga Chad replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Minus the first run play, the defense looked prepared for what Rodgers likes to do and did seem to be frustrate him. To the point my initial reaction to Rodgers sitting down wasn't injury -
McDermott calling the D: what'd ya think?
Cheektowaga Chad replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
The aggressiveness was awesome to see But I think week one is tough to judge against a team that didn't have a QB and really couldn't do much -
Singular point imo when Josh started regressing
Cheektowaga Chad replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Simplify is probably the wrong wording He is playing like a million things are going on in his head all at once. "Simplify" it so that he thinks one thing at a time Make it more structured, more organized, make it so Josh has a check list of things to accomplish in a certain order -
Singular point imo when Josh started regressing

Put Josh under center way more often and it will solve nearly all of the offensive problems Things will become simplified under center not to mention improve the run game and play action. Also he will likely know when he can improvise quicker if his first couple reads are covered -
Week 2 Bills vs Raiders Home Opener!
Cheektowaga Chad replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wonder what the Patriots board was like when Brady threw 4 ints against a potentially upstart buffalo bills team in week 3 in 2011 The buffalo bills are still a very good team, they might have played a defensive unit that's best in the league and for the most part would have been fine by just taking it slow and not forcing things -
I'd hire him as hc in a heartbeat Hind sight being 20/20 should have done so after 13 seconds Actually didn't mind the play call, trying to pick up 5 or 6 yards for a better 3rd down chance. Just insanely poor execution

9/11/23 GAMEDAY Week 1 Bills @ Jets MNF Pregame Thread

Was productive for about 30 minutes today at work. It's gonna be a long time to go -
I still for the life of me can't understand how Derwin James let hill get behind him on that final dolphins drive

Back when the Patriots were dominating the division any time a team made big moves in the off season to try and get to their level or got hot in the regular season to create some noise, they squashed it (I'm still scarred by the Sunday night beat down they gave the bills like 56-10) A statement win for the bills will send the jets scrambling

Bernard, Torrence and Benford all officially starters
Cheektowaga Chad replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
So Dodson just lost the starting job more than anything with Bernard being out what seems like all training camp and pre season Why not just activate kirksey and have him play -
Speculation and discussion on Bills final roster cuts
Cheektowaga Chad replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Could ike be a guy they bring back after someone gets placed on IR? Doesn't have to go through waviers I know he hasn't had a good camp but seems like a good depth piece -

Notable cuts around the league

First round pick, has played 2 seasons and has now been cut by two different teams How is that possible -
Elam now CB4 and playing kickoff coverage in the preseason
Cheektowaga Chad replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know if him playing special teams is as much as about him being on the ropes for roster spots or that he will likely be the 4th or 5th corner and they need to know how to play special teams to be active on game days He still has a lot of value to the bills in my opinion, the bills love to disguise coverages and before white got hurt actually played near 50-50 man and zone and Elam really is the only corner that has the ability or potential to play man consistently on this roster
