I imagine Dawkins would be bad at RT. He’s a finesse guy that just wants to pass protect speed rushers. He looks like a marshmallow. Can’t imagine he’s strong enough to play RT.

Why do I have the feeling that you will find a way to excuse McDermott and beane if we don’t make the playoffs this year? Beane now has had a lot of subpar drafts although he hit the grand slam with Allen. Almost all of his other picks in rounds 1-3 have been average at best to total busts. I’m holding out for hope for Kincaid and Torrence who I both liked. Paying Knox and Oliver all that money was extremely questionable. While trading for diggs worked we could have had Jefferson on a rookie contract for a few years. people are wondering why diggs is mad, isn’t it pretty obvious? This team has been underachieving and now looks like it’s now on the downtrend.

Doc you are in full on denial if you cannot see mcdermotts’ glaring inadequacies. We had daboll and Frazier 2 respected coaches running the show. Now we have clown show McDermott and Dorsey leading the charge, while Beane still thinks his draft pick Spencer Brown belongs in the NFL. Straight up wasting Josh Allen’s career here.

It’s not about preseason. Years of horrible game plans and bad in game mgmt. it’s going to be painfully obvious this year to all the believers. When the franchise extended McDermott and beane a few weeks ago it, this franchise sealed its’ grave for the foreseeable future.

Guess this comment went over your head. We went to 4 straight super bowls because we had hall of famers all over the field. We lost all 4 because Marv was at best a mediocre coach that Ralph hired because he didn’t have to pay him that much. McDermott has been outclassed in lots of playoff and regular season games. It will be painfully obvious that McDermott isn’t a top 15 coach this year.

OP is way to far in the weeds the problem has been the playoff gameplanning/adjustments and coaching. Plain and simple. We gave the coaches more excuses when Allen was young, had banged up wrs against KC first time around. Now it’s pretty obvious with this trend that all the playoff loses have been on McDermott not just the offense or defense. He’s Marv Levy 2.0.

More like Tom thibs. Stubborn coach with poor in game mgmt. and adjustments. Great defensive regular season coach that always gets exposed in the playoffs. He is respected and helps teams get better but I have my doubts on how far he can take a team.

Nfl is in the entertainment business not the fairness and equity business.

Sure give him an oline that got block and wrs that can catch then.

Your “defensive” head coach shouldn’t have his defense embarrassed in all 4 games to the extent they did. It’s called accountability you know something a grown up understands.

If this coaching staff is inspiring hope for you I’d love whatever you are taking. I’ve seen this train wreck 4 straight times in the playoffs.

In politics we call next years bills team a lame duck year. I for one am not ok with wasting another year. Time to rip the bandaid off and clean house.

I mean we can start with his decision to punt in OT in a must win game with 4 minutes left with 4th and 1 at the other team’s 38 yard line in 2017. I’ve had a strong disliking for McDermott since this game. I know he’s done a lot of good since then and I give him some credit but he’s still the same in game terrible decision maker he’s always been. Looking at our 4 playoff loses it’s an embarrassment of terrible decisions made by the coaching staff including McDermott. We talk a lot about our receivers and can they get separation but how bout our coaching staff? They get throughly out coached every time we get into the playoffs and I’m sick of it.
