  1. Yes, they all signed for under their "market value". That's $10M for Cook. If Cook would agree to that number, he would be signed too. Signing Tre White to compete for a depth job at CB with a "chance" to do more, has nothing to do with Cook and Beane's contract talks.
  2. I would put some of the incentive $s into interceptions too. The bottom line will be base salary and guaranteed money. I'm seeing no more than $2M salary and no more than $500k guaranteed.
  3. Until I see differently, I'm sure that the Tre White contract will not make him a "lock". Beane will draft a CB that in both his and McDermott's minds will hopefully be starting sometime during the year. I have Johnson, Benford and the Rookie (1st - 4th round) as locks. At least one of Lewis/Jackson will no doubt make the 53. It's going to be a battle for the other 2 CB slots. The secondary is going through a big change, and I bet they will wait and see who plays best together.
  4. Sure. LOL. Realtors will tell you trying to sell it later is a biatch. Colorado has one of the least number of pools per capita in the US. It's just the way it is. Swim spas are the big thing. I've lived in Colorado for over 40 years and have had a total of 1 friend with a pool. It was above ground, and it cost a lot to heat.
  5. Very, very few people have pools in Colorado. The evening low temp keeps the water cold even in the middle of summer. They have to be heated.
  6. Let's wait and see what the terms are. It is likely about starts and snaps (including playoffs) and interceptions. He may not even make the team. If he doesn't then it's only about any guaranteed money. We don't even know how much (if any) that is.
  7. Both. $80M this year and $59M next year. NO loves to kick the cap back. This is what you get when you do that.
  8. They are stuck with him due to dead cap.
  9. He was a 5th but he has received a lot of visits. I'm thinking 4 now.
  10. I agree with the first 3 seasons in Cleveland. His last I thought he showed some leadership and guts playing through that bad shoulder.
  11. SVGP took a lot of snaps at G last camp. They want him to be a prime C backup, but he needs to show he can pull G duty if needed. Anderson will continue what he has been doing. There is room on the team for both these players. Anderson needs to prove he can replace Edwards next year. If he does he will get a RFA tender next spring. SVPG has to prove he can be an NFL starting C on a playoff team. He will get a lot of C snaps and has to prove he is THE primary Center backup this summer. His competition is McGovern right now not Anderson IMO.
  12. Anderson has been with the team since 2022. I think they know what they have in him more than SVGP so far. It seems to me for IOL that Anderson is above SVGP in the depth chart. Neither Anderson nor SVGP are first line tackle depth though Anderson has taken snaps there in practice/preseason.
  13. Yes. But $15M AAV could be a fixation with some players, but the end result of the contract could be huge.
  14. I could see the opening numbers being $10M from Beane and $15M from Cook. Where it went from there (if anywhere) I don't know. One aspect of all this that hasn't been addressed much is the contract length and guaranteed money. 3 year or 4 years may have a lot to do with the dollars as does guarantees.
  15. That is one of the reasons I agree with. The other is, NE probably only wants 2 QBs on the roster. No doubt, they think Dobbs will be a good vet influence on Maye, after all they just signed a 2-year $8M contract with him. Cutting Milton hoping he makes the PS wasn't going to happen, so therefore the trade. I wouldn't doubt they draft a late rounder or UDFA for the PS.
  16. Agree. My point is after the posting none of us know what talks took place and what numbers were offered. Beane could have offered $13.3M and/or Cook's agent could have come down to $13.5M. WE don't know. My hope has been a "reasonable" compromise could have been achieved. I'm beginning to think that will not happen.
  17. As of now, nobody knows. Any "speculation" is just that. Arguing about who is right or wrong, fair or unfair is futile. I'm just going to sit back and watch. I will say there may be some RB visits for the draft coming in. That is something to watch for.
  18. It sure is. Benford is 15th on the CB list for AAV. His signing bonus of only $7.5M even opened up $600k more cap for Beane.
  19. Maybe get John Madden calling the game like Harry Caray did for baseball.
  20. Cam is the primary backup at NCB to Taron Johnson. He can/has played S too.
  21. Right now, I think DQ is an insurance policy at DT1. We'll see after the draft what happens to him. He's 34 and may retire if the Bills tell him they have to move on. A June 1st designation nets $5.5M which would take Beane into the season without any restructures.
  22. Yes, typically they carry 5 WRs. The ST players add a slot and if Shenault is that guy 6 WRs is not out of the question. The WRs (and TEs for that matter) have had a pretty dismal injury record. It may be good to hedge for that. As for Shavers, he would be a camp surprise to make the 53. I see him destined for the PS again (which is a good depth plan). Lots of years the Bills carried 10 OL. They have a strong 9 so there could be another open spot for the O. QB-2 RB/FB-4 WR-6 TE-3 OL-9 24-Total Offense
  23. 1. DT/CB 2. CB/DT 3. WR 4. DL (DE or DT BPA) 5. S 6. TE 7. BPA - CB/LB/RB/STs 8. BPA - CB/LB/RB/STs 2 Picks traded. This is my priority list. Could vary in which round these priorities are taken depending on the board. Notes: 1. I added RB despite the numbers issue. They would find a way to IR (hide) someone if needed. RB taken only IF too good to pass up. 2. Take the TE IF too good to pass on. Needs to have good blocking skills. Going to need one next year and TEs take a while to acclimate.
