It's a big important division game. Biggest in the first 8 games of the season. It's time to unveil some of the stuff they want to do and then reset some for the next big game against the Bengals in week #9. IMO. The results of Sunday's game are, the Bills are in 1st place in the AFCE or 2 1/2 games behind. I think that is a pretty good reason.

I posted this in the Kincaid thread, but it probably belongs here. If you look at the season schedule as a whole, this is the first game that you'd bring out different looks as an OC. I am really looking forward to seeing some innovated uses of some of the new weapons on the Bills. If we don't see that I will be a bit disappointed in Dorsey and Josh. This is the game to begin to show what Kincaid, Harty, Shakir and Sherfield can do. Knox has more TDs against the Dolphins than any other team. Show me what you got Ken!

There isn't a Safety on the PS. Seems a little strange not having one and 4 WRs for the offense. Rapp gets the start, and we'll see how good of a signing that was. He needs to stand tall Sunday!

Gabe has up and down games. He needs a big one this Sunday.

I like James Cook. I think he's a pretty good running back and a good fit for the Bills, especially with Murray and Harris behind him.

I won't pile on Edmunds, but he is just too cautious IMO to play MLB. I surmise that's why he always looks "half speed". I have wondered how he would play in a 3-4 D not calling the plays.

I prefer the early games on Sunday (11am Mountain Time) but the late games at 2:00pm and night games at 6:15pm are not too bad. Mountain Time is great for watching football.

Well keeping with that reasoning (same stats first 3 games) I'll go with Miami scoring 15 points. Just like they did last year in Game #4.

Week 8 home game against TB having him knocking off some rust would be perfect. Bengals the next week. He can rest the following week against the Broncos. The Jets and Eagles before the bye week.

There is also a big number of big name WRs in FA next year. Gabe has a market value currently of $11.2M. He probably will get that unless the wheels fall off of his game. Like @NoSaintsaid above, the Bills can't do 8 figures for him. I'm hoping for a 4th round comp pick and a Day 1 or Day 2 drafted WR.

I tend to agree. Not sure they know how to use him. He has had 7 catches on 10 targets and 3 jet sweeps. The sweeps were not blocked well, and D penetration killed the plays. Most of his swing screens were not well designed. He does lose his footing quite a bit. It may end up that Harty isn't good for the team, but right now I haven't seen him used the way I expected.

If they really try to re-sign him, they may do it next spring. Taron has a big cap hit and they could ease some of it with the re-sign.

Don't get me wrong I think Taron is a great football player and a top NCB, but next season is the last on his contract. I don't know if the Bills will be able to afford him. Some team will pay him big money I'm guessing. It will be very interesting to see what happens.

Opening drive 4th and 2 I don't get this go for it all the time stuff. Kick 3 points.

Will the Bills build a new foundation brick by brick and carry it over to the playoffs? Will Sean Payton be mocked by Nate Hackett because his team won more games than Denver? What will Travis's game be like when Taylor dumps him like all the others? Who killed Peter Campbell? These questions...and many others...we be answered on the next episode of.................

LOL, you just went against your own argument. You want the game all on Josh Allen and his arm. Have the Bills won any Super Bowls with that scheme? No. So, the counterpoint is trying to blend some of the features that a team like New England did with Brady and you post THAT reply.
