Not Active: Poyer Ifedi Anderson Jonathan or Ford (both are the 5th DE/DT respectively. Maybe a chance they both sit?) It leaves me with Elam having about a 50/50 chance of dressing. If he does dress, they may have some DB sets where he comes in to jam and run tight with a WR (not necessarily Hill). If it worked, he could see more snaps. It does give an option for a twist on D compared with having Ford and Jonathan who combined don't even have 1 tackle yet.

I really doubt he is activated and plays in London. He comes back in front of the fans for the Giants game is my bet.

Shaq would cost another $225k if cut but just looking at the Bills cap space on Spotrac Beane now has over $3M. Apparently, Hines got his salary cut. So now that money isn't tight anymore Shaq would seem to be the guy.

I'm going to wait and see how they want to get him back to full time. I would guess a DE has to get cut to make room for him. Kingsley Jonathan seems likely to be the guy. Not sure if he would clear waivers. Lawson could also be the guy, I guess. Guys get banged up all the time so maybe they'll just take it one week at a time before activating him. They may need him to start with a decent number of snaps if another guy is banged up. I wonder in Kingsley gets "tweaked" somehow the game before Von is activated and he sits on IR for a few weeks. Funnier things have happened.

Yes, it is possible. It seems that the reports about Tre were more about his mental part of the recovery. Von seems pretty hyped to get back. We will only know when he is playing in a game.

It's a big important division game. Biggest in the first 8 games of the season. It's time to unveil some of the stuff they want to do and then reset some for the next big game against the Bengals in week #9. IMO. The results of Sunday's game are, the Bills are in 1st place in the AFCE or 2 1/2 games behind. I think that is a pretty good reason.

I posted this in the Kincaid thread, but it probably belongs here. If you look at the season schedule as a whole, this is the first game that you'd bring out different looks as an OC. I am really looking forward to seeing some innovated uses of some of the new weapons on the Bills. If we don't see that I will be a bit disappointed in Dorsey and Josh. This is the game to begin to show what Kincaid, Harty, Shakir and Sherfield can do. Knox has more TDs against the Dolphins than any other team. Show me what you got Ken!

There isn't a Safety on the PS. Seems a little strange not having one and 4 WRs for the offense. Rapp gets the start, and we'll see how good of a signing that was. He needs to stand tall Sunday!

Gabe has up and down games. He needs a big one this Sunday.

I like James Cook. I think he's a pretty good running back and a good fit for the Bills, especially with Murray and Harris behind him.

I won't pile on Edmunds, but he is just too cautious IMO to play MLB. I surmise that's why he always looks "half speed". I have wondered how he would play in a 3-4 D not calling the plays.
