  1. Milano is a spark ........... all over the place. 3 and out
  2. Posted it somewhere else because I thought it was interesting. The Ravens are now averaging almost 25ppg with Roman. Here we are at 19ppg. I think it says a lot about Dennison. Dennison's best games have been Lynn/Roman impersonations.
  3. Empty boats make the most noise. Don't listen to the noise.
  4. Any one notice that Roman's offense is now averaging almost 25ppg and adding to that tonight?
  5. He definitely throws a very catchable ball. I'll give him that.
  6. There's one thing in my house, maybe the don't love football like I do, but they hate the Patriots.
  7. Please elaborate? 2014 they scored 21.4 and 2013 they scored 21.2 but please go on.
  8. They scored over 23 a game with Roman and almost 25 a game with Lynn. The problem they needed to figure out was how to play defense. Lynn has less wins and is scoring less with Rivers than he did last year with Tyrod but hey he's probably getting a lot of yards and 300 yard games are what its all about am I right?
  9. Says the guy who had 60 catches and 1,047 yds and 9tds in 13 games with Taylor and has 36 catches 563yds and 7TD's in 14 games this year. I'd definately use that guy's statement. Woods and Sammy went to a team with a top notch coordinator and a good QB and still are getting beat by a rookie. Woods might not even beat his season best in catches and Watkins is miles behind any best he's ever had. The idea that Taylor was so bad that he was ever holding back WR's is insane.
  10. How many games did Watson win? I had one guy saying 2015 Brady had injured receivers, next we have Watson is great with his 3 and 4 record. If someone says well Taylor had injured WR's and still has a winning record then all of a sudden stats don't matter. Most just repeat the same opinion over and over.
  11. What in the hell are you talking about? Did you smoke your lunch? There's nothing dishonest about the numbers that doesn't even make sense. I was just showing that Houston, and the system and players there, have been able to make a few different QB's look good. I shouldn't even have to explain that.
  12. I think people are comparing this defense to the Schwartz defense too much. This is a bend but don't break, keep the score low defense. You might see more yardage given up then you'd like. Belichick frequently isn't best in sacks, may give up yards, but his defense's are always good at keeping points off the board. The stretch where this defense was getting manhandled was when Dareus and Coleman were gone. It would seem to me that the DL in this defense is depended on to stop the run more than in Schwartz's defense. It seems like it's not just a wide 4, get to the QB type of defense. Where Hughes comes in, and I think he needs to do better, is on known passing downs and being disruptive. I think he has been disruptive but he needs to be more disruptive. Maybe rotate a little more and keep him fresher or even play him situationally. I wish they played Alexander a little more situationally also. As in let him rush the passer more and play LB less.
  13. Thanks for that .............. I wasn't sure how you felt already. At least you skipped putting in evidence that is made up or doesn't even really support your opinion like some of the others so there's less to read and less time wasted. Actually he didn't drop that pass ............ as I've already said, they sent out two WR's and one RB and Miami had 5 guys covering 3. Taylor had to basically throw it away and just tried to throw it somewhere Jones might get to it. Jones dropped a pass later on that hit him dead in the hands.
  14. Really ........... explain to me how Hogan is better off? Goodwin is actually playing and not hurt or 3rd string so that's on coaching. How is Watkins better off. Christ even Woods for that matter is only putting up marginally better numbers and he's playing in a passing offense with McVay. You people are nuts. You will never be able to prove Taylor and Taylor alone sucks because he doesn't. If you want to say he's not Rogers or Brady I can't say a thing. You'd be right. Sometimes you have to quit your bitching and focus on what would make the team better until you get your Rogers or Brady. If you ever do get a Rogers or Brady.
  15. Watson is in large part the exception not the rule. Tell me which one is Watson without looking it up. 63.1% 2,483yds 17td 8int 60.7% 2,606yds 19td 7int 61.8% 1,699yds 19td 8int Bill O'Brien is amazing with QB's and Houston has two first round picks at WR. It's a very good situation. Watson would not have done what he did here. Not saying Watson doesn't look good. Just saying people think QB's and QB's alone make the offense work and really it's much more complicated than that. PS the other two QB's there are Fitzpatrick and Hoyer.
  16. Did you watch the damn game? Really. First off Taylor just got a first on 2nd and 13 after a crappy run. Then got another first on 3rd and 8. The first play you are listing they only sent two WR and a RB out and had five guys covering so yes he threw it away. The last play to Clay wasn't even a bad throw. My best guess is Clay didn't see it because he definately should have adjusted for it.
  17. Taylor is what he is and the "Taylor sucks" crowd are just taking the simple easy route. Taylor is as good or bad as the team around him for the most part. If the team shows up, plays defense, doesn't take multiple negative running plays and penalties, catches passes, then Taylor will put up decent numbers and more often than not win. If the teams doesn't show up, doesn't play defense, runs for -3 yards on first and second downs, drops easily caught passes, and gets a procedure penalty to start every drive Taylor is not going to fix all that. Very few QB's will. When we have a better QB on the roster by all means play him.
  18. Like he didn't execute that beautiful pass that Jones dropped?
  19. The one thing I will say if Zay knows he's covered in man coverage the DB basically ran the route for him and then they send the RB right into the same area. There are only two WR's out and one RB and 5 guys covering. The whole play looks doomed all over.
  20. You are right ......... my bad. It's blocking the twitter in the forums on my browser so I had to go to Cover 1's page to find out I screwed that up. Carry on nothing to see here :). The one I got wrong Taylor was essentially throwing away. There wasn't anything else he could do on that.
  21. As for the adding my 2 cents to the post. I'd definitely draft a QB if there's one there early. Don't waste a first round pick on the 3rd or 4th best guy though. Either make some moves and take a consensus good pick or build the team with play makers and defense. I'm all for adding a good QB. I'd rather play Taylor and Peterman with an explosive reciever and a better line next year than trade 2 firsts for a middle of the road prospect though.
  22. That thing in his hands is the ball ........ he just needed to hang on to it. Anyone who calls it an overthrow clearly didn't watch the game.
  23. So just to be clear Brady throwing to Edelman and Amendola, who had more games in 15 than Watkins and Woods did in 16, gets a pass for injuries but Tyrod doesn't?
