The coaching job Campbell has done with Detroit is nothing short of remarkable.
I am dumbfounded that he is catching this much grief. Then again, it's similar to Josh always "losing" to Mahomes despite the fact that he rises to the occasion. You will get turned on in a heartbeat in the NFL, no matter the facts or circumstances.

17-10 is hardly "smoking" the Ravens
The Chiefs outplayed Baltimore handily though. There is no question about that

Be interesting to see how quickly if at all Lions fans forgive Campbell for this - even if it was more luck than blame. He's the best thing that's happened to them in years. But we've seen ourselves how these things play out.
Along those same lines, will Campbell become more conservative when the Lions are in the playoffs next year? That would be a colossal mistake imo

I honestly don't care enough about them to feel good or bad for them.
Just think it's kind of weird when somebody wants others to suffer.
Two sides of a coin I guess. I don't believe they have been suffering, at least nowhere near the level we have been.
In any event, probably a moot point. The KC Swifties are going to win because they are better than both NFC teams

The ravens smoked the 49ers and the chiefs just smoked the ravens.
Yeah, I think we all know the conclusion is going to be

Everybody else should be as miserable as me.
Great philosophical outlook
I hear you, but do you want to end up as the last city in the whole league without a championship? I know I don't.
It's nothing against Lions fans. If my team and city hadn't suffered so much and gone through endless playoff heartbreak I would've gladly rooted for them today. Detroit has had plenty of success in other sports

They can learn some more painI will say I'm not crying for them. The Red Wings are looking really good again, so they have that to look forward to. Buffalo has the Sabres... yeah

You are to be commended on a fine season Dan, maybe invest in an analytics department
Um, I don't know how to break this to you but the analytics would say to do what he did lmao

Kicker looked fine there
Yeah, he made an extra point in a low leverage situation. Completely the same deal as the situation before

Awful call to run it there

Neither of these teams can beat the Chiefs. NFC was a joke this season.
THIS
The AFC Championship game was the Super Bowl. Either the Ravens or Chiefs would wipe the floor with either of these teams

He’s to be commended😂
Did he tell Josh Reynolds to drop two crucial passes? Did he pull a horseshoe out of his ass like Purdy did on the pass to Aiyuk. The guy turned the whole franchise around and everyone turns on him in a matter of minutes 😂

Anybody who blames Dan Campbell for this game clearly doesn't know football and hasn't watched the Lions all year. And I'm saying this as someone who wanted the Lions to lose. If you want to point fingers, look to Josh Reynolds as HappyDays mentioned (and some bad luck)

Key word with Badgley. Campbell is doing what brought them here. He should be commended

Lions have given up 6 points now in not kicking field goals.
Unless their kicker just sucks? He does. Maybe the worst kicker in the league

man greg olsen is openly rooting for the niners. annoying listening to him call the game like this because he wants his buddy to go to the super bowl.
Well, what does he care. He is on the way out and we all get to listen to TB12 next year

For the should of kicked a field goal crowd, a reminder that Michael Badgley has historically been one of the worst kickers in the NFL

Detroit just needs one big play to get their groove back. Nowhere near over yet

That was a 45-50 yrd field goal on bad grass.
I'd have gone on 4th/2 there also
Exactly, and at least Campbell has clarity and conviction about it as evidenced by the run on 3rd down

The Chiefs have the better coach, quarterback, and defense. Add in the fact they are highly confident coming off two big road wins and Kyle Shanahan usually turns into a pumpkin in huge games, and I would be very surprised if KC lost. How is San Francisco a 2 point favorite based off of what we've seen from both teams in the playoffs?
