  1. Fair enough, though not many QBs would have a good record with that Chargers squad under Mike Riley... excuses aside, even with that poor record, the combined record was well over .500. Anyway doesn't matter now... I just feel that cheapshots against Flutie are rather innapropriate, especially considering he was at the helm the last time this team ever sniffed the playoffs.
  2. Referring more to Buffao, but you can add up all 3.
  3. Right on. The Bears schedule may be easy but that doesn't disqualify them as an elite team.
  4. ... milked it to a pretty solid winning percentage as a starter.
  5. Yep. Just like you said... Bills D stacks up to the Bears D.
  6. I know the dude personally... and the answer is simple: no.
  7. The point is running back wasn't a NEED for the Saints. .. and sure I'll tell you if and when the "funnest" LB ever becomes available.
  8. Umm... there are plenty of problems on Green Bay. AJ Hawk isn't one of them. We don't need LBs? Neither did the Chargers when they drafted Merriman -- they had a perfectly solid defense with some good linebackers. But the pick dictated that they take him. The Saints didn't need a RB bu the pick dictated that they take Bush. Bottom line is you never say never. Drafting solely for position is stupid.
  9. How can you say that now? If a guy like Jonathan Vilma or AJ Hawk is available when you pick, maybe you take him. It all depends on where the pick is and what the circumstances are.
  10. You don't know what you are talking about.
  11. This is accurate...
  12. OK I see what you're saying in that they are built similarly but the comparisons end there when it comes to skill Cornerbacks: The Bears' top 4 cornerbacks are superior to the Bills' unit BY FAR. Clements and McGee can stack up to their top 2 but as a whole, their secondary is a better, deeper unit. Tillman, Vasher, Hester and Ricky Manning Jr -vs- Clements, McGee, Thomas and Greer Add to it Mike Brown, who is a Pro Bowl safety, I think their secondary is frightening. The D-Line, position by position, is far better and deeper as well.
  13. The Bills D, while pretty good in their own right, can't hold a candle to the Bears defense.
  14. Squash all contrarian arguments. Thou must conform!
  15. Fletcher's INT was even more impressive because he laid his body out there and still held onto the ball.
  16. That's because the Vikings lowballed him by offering him LESS than some players taken after him in the draft. All McKinnie wanted was to be slotted and the inept Vikings front office was trying to lowball him.
  17. love is in the air...
  18. Uh, of course it's true. The humor in this is the fact that Lenny P doesn't go a week without plugging his friend Tom Donahoe at every opportunity (and yes, they are childhood friends).
  19. http://proxy.espn.go.com/nfl/lastcall?page=lastcall/week4 • For all the criticism that former Buffalo general manager Tom Donahoe still takes, the fact remains that he drafted the Bills' starting quarterback, J.P. Losman, who is playing well, a franchise-level tailback in Willis McGahee and a deep-threat receiver in Lee Evans.
  20. Don't forget downfield blocking. He "can" be blocked.
  21. More information, please.
  22. Don't say that on this thread. That's a no-no.
  23. After 3 games, your predictions are dead wrong. Does that mean we'll lose this week?
