I keep saying that the QB Allen most compares to IMO is Steve Young. I think he is going to be a feared passer and a feared scrambler just like Young was.
Steve Young was always pretty accurate though.

Buffalo needs to just do what they can to improve the team overall. All three phases need improvement, including the defense. Yes, I agree that the offense needs the most attention, but if we bring in a couple impactful defenders to really put this defense over the top, can anyone complain? We need an edge rusher, and more depth at linebacker and Corner.
But yes, the bulk of the attention should go to the offense.

They're rewarded for letting their players walk in free agency. They can do that because they have the personnel to get by with less talent.

It's pretty clear that you have no idea what you are talking about. Tons of players will get signed throughout the league to bring rosters up to 90 men. Having some depth guys who know the system already and who contribute on special teams, and who you are comfortable with, is valuable.
And by the way, many Bills free agents that we don't sign will get signed up by other teams. Guys like Lacey and Pitts, who have real playing experience, would get signed by other teams.

I don't think it is dumb to talk about. I do think people need to realize that strength of schedule doesn't mean much.

This is a reflection of the divisions the AFC East is scheduled to face this year. This means that the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets should have easier schedules as well, with the major difference being that they have to face the Patriots, which automatically makes it harder for them.
There are huge changes in the Dynamics of good, bad, and average teams each year, though. Strength of schedule doesn't mean much.

Yes, except the Bills play the Patriots and the Patriots play the Bills. Therefore they have an easier schedule. Facing a 6-10 team is easier than facing the defending Superbowl champions.

Anyone who thought Jackson should be drafted high in the 1st was on crack. He's got bust written all over him.
Harbaugh will scheme him to some wins, but he'll flame out. His biggest weakness is the most fundamental aspect of playing QB: staying in the pocket and making throws. It's the same reason why Tyrod won't ever be a franchise guy. Russell Wilson can do it and Cam Newton can do it. Their running ability enhances their play, but it doesn't define it.
If the best defense is to make you be a QB, you won't succeed at QB in the NFL.

I never understood why anyone thought it was brutal to begin with. I was preaching that it was a pretty average or even an easy schedule.

6'7" and 260 Ibs? Sign me up. Sick of having an undersized, oft injured TE. Clay was only 6'3", basically a heavy, slow WR.

Then he went back to her, and then left her again. That story probably doesn't mean much in isolation, but following them on twitter and instagram while it unfolded revealed just how scummy he was.
Again, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to play football or anything, and lots of guys do that stuff, but watching it in real time left a pretty poor taste in my mouth.
Does he just not know where babies come from? There are ways to prevent pregnancy...
