  1. 4th and 12 by far. The only other thing that comes to mind was beating the Pats 31-0, but that doesn't even come close.

I'm a young guy in his mid twenties, so I have been waiting quite awhile for some good sports memories.

Best gosh dang fans in the world.

So excited for those players. They are getting so much love. Kyle must be on cloud 9. He has been waiting for this ever since entering the NFL.

  2. Nothing should change. He is the worst passer in the NFL. We need someone who can throw the ball and function from the pocket.

But yeah, if we need to keep him another year as a bridge QB, he's the perfect QB for that. As long as McDermott and Beane show they are addressing the position by drafting someone high or bringing in Cousins.

  3. No, I didn't, but I did scream a lot and pound my fists into the couch (not after the win, after the 4th and 12 TD).

As someone in his mid twenties, who cannot remember the glory days of Bills football, this was my best sports memory hands down. Pretty crazy that it is a game between the Ravens and Bengals, and I don't care about either team.

What's most impressive is that it happened with so much roster turnover, including trading Dareus mid-season, and the WR situation for much of the year.

Exactly. McDermott and Beane traded big, but questionable talent for good draft picks, increased our cap space, brought in excellent FA and Rookie talent, rebuilt the secondary, and got the team into the playoffs for the first time this century.

Absolutely awesome. Can't wait for the draft and off-season to see what these guys do next to build this team. And, of course, to watch the playoff games.

I said before the preseason that 8-8 would be a tremendous success given the roster turnover, new coaches and schemes, etc. Well, going 9-7 and making the playoffs is even more tremendous, obviously.

  5. Anybody with McDermott connections that would want to be offensive coordinator under him? I can't imagine Dennison was his first choice. Or even his second. He probably had to settle for him.

That being said, it is tough to really get a feel for Dennison given the lack of passing ability he has to deal with.

  6. I like Cousins. I was hoping to get him a few years ago when it looked like he might leave Washington, but he ended up staying. He would be a great QB to have that would allow us to compete and continue to build the team. If we sign him I doubt we'll sign any other big names. He'll require a huge contract.

Stopped reading after you said to sign Cousins...

What do people have against Cousins? He is a legitimate passing QB and can absolutely win games. I am honestly curious.

  7. Would be great to get the monkey off the back of this franchise. I think it would go a long way to helping the team move forward and build something good.

I am too young to remember the super bowl years because I was an infant, and my earliest Bills memory was the music city debacle. Would be nice to make some good memories with this team. So hard to have to hear about the glory days in the early 90's and only be able to watch highlights and old games from those guys and not actually experience it real time.

Here's to making the playoffs. We have a decent shot.

Maybe I got lucky then as I spoke ill of every Bills coach since Greg Williams on that board.  I criticized Ralph for being cheap in not going after the big name coaches.  I only got one infraction and the mod gave me a thorough explanation why (it was a stupid gif of Brady yelling a profanity on the bench that you could only lip read) and I was fine with them just giving me a warning.  I'll take it from you though as others like you had different experiences.

I was there long before EJ and started a thread the night he was drafted about how the Bills made a horrible mistake.  I also was very critical of Wilson's decision to hire Marv Levy as GM because it was the comfortable thing for Ralph to do.  No warnings from the mods.

You were lucky. Plenty of people got banned for literally no reason at all.

  9. Would like to bring Matthews back for sure. Should be able to get him a little cheaper considering his down season. He hasn't had injury issues in the past and has been solid. Not sure he would want to come back if Tyrod is still here, though, because no WR on this team can expect targets with him at the helm.

Tolbert better go. Not sure what the coaches see in him on the field.

If we draft a QB, I wouldn't be against bringing Tyrod back to allow the rookie to sit and develop, maybe come in later in the season. Tyrod is a good bridge QB.

I would definitely bring back Gaines, but still look at adding depth at CB.

If by "always hurt" you mean one injury plagued season(and rightfully so considering his injury) then yea you are right.

He was a BIG difference maker when on the field here.

The revisionist history is incredible around here.

How many times have you gotten black out drunk during Bills games?

Go look at his stats. He had a dominant 7 game stretch and that's about all.

And if you think he had 1 injury plagued season, you must have been drunk. He only played a full season his rookie year, and many of the games he DID play he was little more than a decoy because he was playing hurt.

McDermott absolutely made the right decision to deal him. He was a me first guy here, from his own mouth, and never played anywhere near the level of an elite receiver. Nor has he played up to a #1 WR in LA either, yet.

It is a testament to the arrogance of the front office to let Watkins walk, thinking that 'Zero' Jones was going to step into those shoes..

I wouldn't want any WR to step into the shoes of Sammy Watkins. He was always hurt, and when on the field not that big of a difference maker.

He has been healthy all year for the Rams and his stats are we'll below what you want for your #1 "elite" WR.
