I would be ok with Keenum as long as Daboll takes a long look at how Shurmer used him last year to be successful. Also bringing him in makes us look way less desperate for a trade up so teams can't gouge us as much. He's ok, but not spectacular enough to keep the rookie on the bench for 16 games imo.

There are a lot of different type of fans. Some are more concerned with being able to say "Ha, I was right". There are definitely QBs in the draft and in FA that I would not like to see here. Mason Rudolph for example screams Christian Ponder ceiling to me. Would absolutely not like to see the Bills use a first round pick on the guy. However, if he's the guy he's now "my guy". Much like the EJ pick, didn't want him, grew to accept him and root for him. Even found a few qualities I really liked about him. Just gotta give whoever the guy(s) we bring in a chance.

I have a source that says we are trading all our picks for picks in next year's draft. But we will actually be spending them all on the supplemental draft.

McCown, and really I wouldn't consider him a third their guy at all. He's still a very capable player. He is basically a QB coach on the field. Very handy to have when your team's QB coach is actually a WR coach in disguise. He's older, which means a quicker transition to the rookie and will miss a few games most likely, which means we get to see the rookie get some experience on the field. He is my #1 choice, not only on this list but for any vet QB we could sign.

I don't see it that way at all. I see a guy that has had 2 years of injury concerns. He has played well, but it's a really really deep CB market this year in FA. It may be better for him long term to take a little less and stay here...a system he knows already and knows he can perform well in to rehab his value. It really wouldn't shock me to see him get about the same deal Davis got.

If you want "your guy" and it's not who Cleveland will pick, need to get ahead of the Broncos. If you have 2-3 guys and your content with any of them you still run a risk being the Cleveland, Denver and Jets likely all go QB Rd1. Cousins signing with Denver/Jets, would of course alter that. As of now can't bank on it happening.

So you're saying without trades (there will be) and if Cleveland takes 2 not QBs (they are taking QB...promise) and if the Broncos get Cousins (even though Minny is reported to have him on lock) we could have whatever QB is leftover, you know AFTER 2 of our division rivals get their pick? Cool.

I'd like to have him back, but I'd worry that the familiarity with Preston Brown from last year would move Beane to bring him back instead.
