Saw a report of a sprained wrist somewhere...nothing official. Team actually got a bit nicked up yesterday. McDermott even mentioned it in his press conference.

I think Spencer Brown had fingers x-rayed after the game. Ty Johnson came to the sidelines twice with right shoulder drooping twice--looked like stingers to me. Leonard Floyd sat out for a bit being evaluated for an unknown injury, but went back in. No reports of severity from what I've seen

What you describe here is hardly "a bit nicked up".  Sounds about what you would expect from a full day of padded practice.

I’m gonna bet my retirement that someone is already developing the workaround.

Also, no seatbelt and running into a bridge while drunk makes me wonder about suicide.  I’ve heard many people talk about doing exactly that when depressed, mentally ill, etc.

Any office store and buy a bottle of compressed air, not rocket science.

As for suicide and not wearing a seat belt, Aubrey McClendon uber rich oil mand that was headed for bankruptcy again that  is how he passed away, also hitting a railroad bridge.

It's weird timing but it feels like Brady's earned the right to bring in his own people

You realize people have a life outside of Buffalo, and the Bills.   You just dont drop EVERYTING and relocate at the drop of a hat.

Expectations by Bills fans, really any fan base are so wrapped out of reality.

In sorry but that whole thing sounds like a complete lie.

McD wanted his OL to wear work boots instead of Jordan’s during a walk through? What?

    I agree.

You are not going to risk injury to your players forcing them to wear work boats, prima facie absurd.  Also more than likely a violation of many CBA and NFL rules/regulations.

it’s bc of this. It’s always been bc of this. specifically the black espn media. Fair or unfair. I forgot the lebron hate too.

    Is this a joke?

Stop it already.  I dont think ANYONE ever thinks of this.

If you really believe I feel sorry for you.

I will agree on the the espn media is worthless.

I love how because McDermott is an unpopular figure around here, everything that’s gone wrong is his fault 🤣🤣😂

How do you know that it was McDermott who insisted on making these picks?  How do you know it wasn’t Beane who insisted on defense?

Now that Leslie Frazier, Ken Dorsey are gone, it is now McDermott's turn.

As to the GM not listening to the HC during the draft, that entire premise is toxic.  It would be like going back to the Doug Whaley days.

Different situation… Mario Williams was very good for 2 seasons and played at an All-Pro level in 2014.  The Bills did overpay to get him in Buffalo but he played well.

Things went downhill after when Rex took over.  It wasn’t just the scheme change he fell off a cliff and was out of the league two years later.

    I wrote similar, not identical.

I largely agree with what you said but do have to defend the move by Beane.  Anytime you sign a player to a big contract, injuries are always a risk - whether young or old.   Look at Joe Burrow’s injury this season.  Just because he blew an ACL three years prior, doesn’t really mean it would happen again.

The way the contract was structured, it was basically a 3-year contract and I feel that was reasonable.  They did have an overpay a little, but LAR and DAL were also in the mix to sign him to a similar contract.  So it was a deal somewhat close to his market value and was not an egregious contract.

Now where I can agree with you is the need for Von in the first place.  Beane and McDermott consistently failed to find a difference maker as an edge rusher despite spending a time of money and draft resources.

Trent Murphy was an absolute disaster.

Mario Addison was just a dude.

    Justin Jefferson was invisible.

    Boogie Basham was a bust

AJ Epinesa and Greg Rousseau flashed but not enough as DE1

They failed at everything else, so they had to overpay for name brand and it worked for 10 games.

But in this situation, they took a big swing and by happenstance it doesn’t look like it will work out.  I can’t really fault them though.

Similar to what happened with Buddy Nix overpaying Mario Williams.

I looked up Basham season, thus far, he has done next to nada, no sacks, QB hits or TFLs.

Spot on!  If Brady was the OC, Bills would have beaten the NYJ (game 1), Pats, Jags.  That would be 7-3 and a good shot at the #1 seed.

Officiating was arguably a bigger factor today than Mc Dermott

The Pats???  You think a different OC would have stopped Mac Jones from have a career day?  I know losing is a bummer but at least be more accurate in your scapegoats.

    He's a regular.  It's always his fault.

The lowest paid starting player.  He's the one.  LOL

    Anyway, that's a given.

Now that Dorsey is gone you have to select someone to be a whipping boy.

Seriously.  He’s super intense and unapproachable in public.  But that doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy at all.  He probably just has everyone up his butt asking him about every blessed thing all the time and he likes to be left alone.  His job performance and his humanity are two completely different things.

    Is he?

Boy fan anger over this latest loss is near an all time high.  I already experienced my max frustration after the Mac Jones career day he had versus us a few weeks ago, I have since been talked off the ledge.

The Bills defense can’t stop the best teams (Eagles) or the worst teams (Patriots-Giants) from driving the field when the game is on the line.

The responsibility for that lies right at the feet of Sean McDermott.

    Yep.

I "knew" this season was destined for a disaster when you let Mac Jones look like Joe Montana at his peak.

I said before the season started I thought it was great Frazier was gone for one simple reason. McDermott has no more excuses.

It's now obvious the prior failures had nothing to do with Frazier. Frazier got scapegoated by this loser coach who talks about accountability but has none for himself. I wish Frazier would spill the truth on 13 seconds.

Spill the truth on 13 seconds huh.  What if in fact it was 100% his (Frazier's) call, would that make you happy?

No you are frustrated we lost yesterday and want to get some psychological payback on McDermott and hope Frazier would come out and say it was all McDermott's fault.

We need a coach with a pair of cojones. But who’s available? Pederson would’ve been great but he’s not available.

Rex Ryan probably would’ve been a good fit for this team but he’s no longer an option. Can’t go back to that well.

how about keeping Joe Brady as OC and hiring Jim Schwartz?

LOL, Rex Ryan would be a good fit for this team, hilarious.

Buy:  Joe Brady - The differences in how he ran the offense were clear as day.  And I don’t think it’s a fluke.  I do think his stock is on the rise.  If we beat Phi, KC, and Dallas and the offense is rolling in and Jose games, he is going to start having a strong case to have “interim” removed from his title.

Sell:  Gabe Davis - While I don’t expect no catches every week, guys like Kincaid, Shakir, and Cook are earning their reps in the pass games.  We still have Knox coming back too.  There is only so many footballs to go around and Davis is quickly falling down the pecking order for Josh.

Hold:  The Defense - It’s been playing well, Rasul and Linval are living up to their excitement of adding them, which is great/. But, we have 3 top end offenses in a row this D needs will face, and there aren’t any Zack Wilson’s on the other side of the field.

WEll you want to Buy Joe Brady and sell Gabe Davis, Gabe Davis, the same guy Brady said he was the player of the game.  A bit of a logical inconsistency.
