81-2.  Still mad we have a safety!

God, I pray McD doesn’t just run in the 4th quarter. Run up the score to the hilt..  let the boys have fun.

I would be thrilled to just run in Q4.   After that NY Giant debacle plus the Eagles and 49ers going down, blowouts in the NFL are hard to pull off, I will gladly just take a win with no injuries

I think the biggest threat to the Bills defense this week is Malik Cunningham seeing a lot of work. Some plays at WR and some at QB. I think they very much look to ground and pound, shorten the game and limit the amount of possessions our offense has. They have enough playmakers on D still (Peppers and Duggar especially) that they can cause a turnover or two.

But the talent gap between the two teams is still pretty great even with so many of our starters banged up and out on the defensive side. I look for the Bills to have a rebound game on offense and take the win.

    Bills- 29

    Patriots - 23

If they are serious at all about Malik playing QB, they dont have the time to draw up some plays for  him as WR but I agree with the rest of your comments.  It is going to be a likely very boring game with the Pats running constantly right at undersized rookie Dorian Williams.  This would be a real game if they still had Judon and their rookie Gonzalez CB.

the premise is not cutting him or doing anything more than treating him like a commodity, like a stock. if i had shares of him, i'd want to cash in on him.

I totally understand your logic but it is way above the majority of posters heads here.

Buy: Jordan Poyer. He has quietly shaken off some of the early season rust and has played solid ball. I feel like an INT is coming his way and Mac Jones could be the provider this week.

Sell: Dorian Williams. Not out on him long term or anything but if any coach in the league knows how to take advantage of over aggressive young linebackers who haven't quite nailed their drops then it is Bill Belichick.

Hold: Dalton Kincaid. If he is healthy this could be a decent matchup for him.

For this week, I agree with selling Dorian Williams going p against Bill Be;ichek for the first time.

I am a big believer in Dorian William long term, he had some great players last week (esp versus the  run) and some over pursuit in coverage.  I recall the first year of Edmunds vs Belichek, he seemed to design half the plays to go at and/or trick Edmunds.  I am very fearful we might see a repeat of that Sunday.

There's already been rumblings that he would just go back to school rather than be drafted by the worst franchise

So he certainly might be playing chess while the league is playing checkers ...

Not that I think any rookie should get part-time ownership

Yep, he is already making over $1 million on commercials, heck why not keep building you NIL status is Collège if you can avoid going to a dumpster fire organization, especially one trying to tank.

If you think 1 game makes or breaks a prospect lol

Peyton Manning never beat Florida in 4 years ... ND outclasses USC on both lines ... They are more physical

Even a couple rough outings wouldn't be the end of his hype

I didn't say 1 game makes or breaks a prospect but nice attempt at putting words in my mouth and then attack me based on them.

You never know how 21-year-old kids will develop

But not one GM will take Drake Maye over Caleb Williams

I've watched their entire careers for both of them... Maye is closer to a Herbert rn while Caleb can be a mahomes Josh Allen type

He's 6'2 220 in the right places ... Can extend a play for 10 seconds with a laser beam

Drake Maye is a top 5 pick.. I've never heard of any of these rumors about Caleb but he's the #1 whenever he leaves

Re-Watch the Notre Dame USC game, that might change your mind.

Seemed really quiet on TV. But then again, we were being shutout by the Tyrod led Giants into the 4th Quarter. Not much to cheer about. I heard one section cheering: "Fire Dorsey..he's a horsey...Fire Dorsey...he's a horsey". So sad.

Another section had a Giants fan calling out our plays. Perfect every time. So it became a comedy in that section.

Then, on the way out, Bills fans were chanting: "We got lucky, wholly %ucky".

worst 4-2 team in the league.

    Jets are 3-3 with a real D.

    We need a new OC!

IS that true about a Giants fan calling out our plays and "Perfect" every time?  I call BS.  I find that incredibly hard to believe or is this just another way to dig at Bilsl fans current favorite whipping boy Ken Dorsey.

Let’s consider Houston who is loaded at WR. Two guys on rookie deals: John Metchie (gamble on future improvement) or Nico Collins (pay big for a rising star).

Delusional, Houston is not letting either of these guys go.  They have a tremendous amount of future draft capital and have made a miraculous turnaround and are in the playoff hunt.

There is definitely an aspect of that playing out. Honestly, I just don't think "how you look" this time of year matters much, it's all about what the win-loss column says.  It matters how you look going into the playoffs and that you should be peaking at the right times.  2021 taught us this...Bills had one of the greatest single postseason offensive performances of all time in those 2 games, including the only perfect game in NFL history, but their offense was not "up to par" with what we have come to expect for much of that year and it was a big reason we went 11-6.

In week 6, it simply doesn't matter "how you looked", just that you find a way to win, no matter how that is.  It only matters that you've gotten things figured out and are heading into the playoffs with positive momentum.

    Spot on post.

Right NOW, the immediate impact after that dreadful loss of a game and how they looked "mattered" but after the next game we do look good, it will be a distant memory.

I don’t know why people feel like it was a loss? They were a playoff team last year also. I know they have some injuries and have been playing worse this year. But they were obviously fired up to play for their coach. They have some very good players who get paid too. This is not college ball. It was an ugly win but a win is a win, a loss would have derailed our season.
as for the crowd, I know for me there wasn’t much to cheer for. I just wanted them to pull out the win and re group and come back stronger next time. The fans were getting loud for the defensive snaps.

    1) We were a 15 pt favorite, that is about as big as it gets.

    2) Giants weren't that good last year, somewhat of a fluke for them to be in the playoffs.

    3) The game was boring, full of penalties, missed field goals, drops.

    4) One of the most uninspired wins this Bills have had in the Allen Era.
